The food was amazing! Our steaks were cooked to perfection and everything was flavorful and delicious. Our wait staff was perfect! They were attentive and friendly and made sure we were taken care of. The ladies working at the hostess stand on the other hand were extremely and unnecessarily rude and condescending. We arrived a few minutes before our reservation and we're told our table wasn't quite ready. No problem. We asked about waiting at the bar and were told the bar was full and all the seats were reserved. Again, no problem. Two minutes later, a couple came in, stated they didn't have reservations, and were immediately seated at the bar because they are "friends of the restaurant". I guess we will never be friends, as much as we enjoyed the food and the table experience, first impressions matter, and the one we got was not great.

First time in. I’ve always heard great things about this place, and they’re well deserved. We were greeted kindly for our reservation, and had a great experience for dinner. Service was friendly and on point and food was delicious. I had the blackened grouper and it deserved the chef’s kiss! Thanks for a great time. We’ll be back!

I am impressed by the excellent service.
The food was delicious, from the appetizers to the main course and dessert.
The wine selection is great for wine lovers. I would like to come back again when I come back to Hotsprings 😍

Everything was absolutely amazing! The wait staff was so sweet and easy to talk to. We had a reservation in the romance room and was definitely worth it. We celebrated our 5 year anniversary there and the room was quiet and dimly lit. Best place we could’ve gone to for our celebration!

501 Prime is the worst fine dining experience I’ve ever had.

My wife and I ate here on 2/13/2025. I paid $250+ for the two of us. Sam, our bartender was great; everything else was awful at this price point.

I’m from Houston. You can easily eat at AMAZING restaurants at this price point — they will have a James Beard award or a Michelin star. BCN, or Pappas Steakhouse, are perfect.

501 Prime is across from a McDonald’s. You’ve got a walk from the parking lot. The hostess was rude. The art on the walls was corny and for sale — digital prints on canvas for just under $3000. At this point I’m already wondering wtf is going on. BCN, where I last went with my wife for our anniversary, has actual Picasso sculptures and prints, valet parking, and a Michelin star. I spent less at BCN.

The atmosphere did not improve much when we were seated. There are pretty things in the restaurant but it doesn’t feel very thoughtful. I was seated in a corner. Samantha, our bartender was great and attentive.

The only option for the margarita has blue curacao. Okay? My old fashioned was okay.

You pay for bread service.

Food is okay. I can see how you could think it was good if you’ve never eaten anywhere better. At these prices? It is disappointing.

Hot Springs, you’re being ripped off. Demand better.

I’m from Houston, so I know my steakhouse. The hostess wouldn’t seat us right away even though we had a reservation and sat two others before us and seemed more interested in fiddling with her hair than doing her job. That said the service we received once seated was phenomenal and Samantha is very attentive at the bar. We had the bread service, oysters, the scallops, and the sirloin. However myself and my husband as soon as we left, we were both hit with the worst nausea that we have felt in years. Not to be uncouth but we both spent the first night of our vacation in Hot Springs bent over the toilet. I’m sorry to say but this is not one would expect from a highly rated steakhouse and would be laughable.

Worst overpriced meal I’ve ever had. Went there to celebrate Valentines Day and was very disappointed. Ordered the scallops and when the dish was served it consisted of 4 scallops, 2 pieces of tough mushroom surrounded by a moat of grease that dissolved the polenta. That was the entire meal for $50, no bread, no salad. Paid $5 for bottled water, husband had a beer and I had a margarita and somehow the bill was $180. I mentioned the grease around the edge of the food and how unappetizing it was to the waiter. He thanked me for pointing it out but nothing more. The atmosphere was interesting but it was like sitting in a warehouse. Then they charged a credit card fee. Definitely a one and done deal.

I try to eat here once a month. The menu updates frequently. I’ve NEVER been disappointed with anything I’ve eaten here.
The staff are absolutely amazing. The drink selection is astounding.
Upstairs the bourbon bar has just about any bourbon you could ask for. Upstairs also has sports playing on TV’s.
The bartenders are knowledgeable and do a great job.
Be sure to make a reservation in advance if you want to ensure that you will have a table. While walk-ins are welcome, this is a popular place to eat. Many nights they are booked up with no tables left or even bar space left for walk-ins.

Food was amazing! Cooked perfectly. Our server through away my food and I had understood that he was boxing up my food, however where we were seated was in close proximity to a very loud mouther/daughter duo so maybe there was misunderstandings. Me and family had to talk louder to hear over them.
