“I had their house specialy on the Hickory smoked steak. My friend and I ordered a pair (medium well). Her steak was right. However, mine was served burned (charred) on half of it. The parts salvaged tasted ok and "well done". No pink. So at least half of it was done where it was most important to deliver. But I wasn't so happy with mine. I don't normally have issues there. It is on the pricier side, so i was suprised it got sent out. I might give them another try. It is popular localy.”

The Oscar grouper is amazing as well and their steaks are super flavorful. They do not offer a baked potato with the steaks however. The huspuppies are also great and the salad is super fresh.Parking: Parking is terrible. We usually habe to circle around the 2 small lots multiple times before finding a spot. I have driven here and not found a spot and just gone somewhere else. Parking is terrible.”
“My family and I stopped in on our way to town and had the greatest experience! We had a waitress named Kristy. Y'all. Kristy was the most darling woman. Service was 10/10 and I only wish she worked in a town close to me. She went above and beyond for all of us and I genuinely appreciate it.”

“Sarah, the hostess, was wonderful in helping me get everything set up for a special dinner while we visited the area. I had proposed to my now fiancé the day prior. Sarah helped me get flowers delivered to the restaurant before our reservation. The service at the table was excellent too! We had a buratta captures salad, steak crostinis, scallops, and Chilean sea bass that were all terrific. They comped my fiancés two glasses of champagne as well as a dessert of our choice! It was an amazing experience and we would love to dine there again. Our waitress even helped us carry the big bouquet of flowers to our car after our meal. Can’t say enough positive things!”

“What a gem! Its not much to look at from the street but we were so pleasantly suprised at our experience. We got the $5 margs and they were alright, nothing amazing but Tajin on the rim was a nice touch. Our server was attentive and very understanding when my daughter spilled her water. We got the flautas which were covered in crema and queso fresco, yum! Tender chicken and they weren't fried until rock hard (you all know what I mean). We also shared a series of street tacos and omg! The chorizo was by far my favorite. So much so that we ordered a whole slew to go for lunch the next day. All the meat was tender and well-seasoned. I would say, however, if you're a cilantro = soap person like me, make sure to ask for it to be held off as they are very generous with it.”

“This was our first visit to Hot Sprimgs and the first visit to the English Muffin County Kitchen. When I tell you that the variety of English muffins this place has is extraordinary. I had the sweet wheat muffin, and my daughters had the wild blueberry. The meat omelet minus the ham. You can't go wrong with the food here. Our waitress was very informative, and anything we aaked her about concerning the menu she was able to tell us. This place keeps a wait, I would suggest you go early. This place will be top on my list if I ever visit Hot Springs again.”

They were super accommodating and gave us a special table. Our waiter, Chris, was amazing and made sure to take extra special care of us. He was courteous, prompt, friendly, and found a nice balance of checking on us but giving us some privacy. We had the best duck egg rolls we’d ever had as an app. The then split an 8 oz filet cooked to perfection with a side of fried Brussels sprouts and Mac and cheese with crab. They comped our dessert which was a delicious cheesecake. We both live in New Orleans and are accustomed to excellent food but we both agreed it was one of the best meals we’d had in a really long time. Every single bite of food was terrific. Very rarely do you go to a high end steakhouse or fancy restaurant and it delivers completely. That was the case at 501 prime and I would highly recommend to anyone traveling to hot springs!”

“This is not a great spot if you are looking for somewhere that is handicap accessible. Amazing pizza! Great outside seating with a lot of shade. Very delicious homemade ranch, a decent beer menu. Tasha (I think was our servers name) was very attentive and never left us without a drink. We will be back!The only turn off of our experience was having the manager yelling from the outdoor deck to/at the hostess who had apparently not left enough staggered timing on the waitlist, it very much could have been handled within closer proximity instead of in front of a line of guest.”

Service was very good since it's a smaller venue. Would recommend for a group of 6 of less unless you rent the place to yourself. Will definitely go back and try more wines.”

I’ve been to a few other German restaurants and this one by far had the most flavorful foods. Service was quick and friendly.”

The crawfish tails, homemade fries, gumbo and boiled crawfish//shrimp…large portions and all absolutely DELICIOUS! The entire experience exceeded our expectations and we will be back.”

She had been craving lobster and by happy coincidence, it was a Monday and the special was a Maine lobster tail and shrimp scampi! We were pleasantly surprised that the lobster tail wasn't tiny and both it and the shrimp were delicious! The cocktails were okay, but my espresso martini had cream in it when I requested that it wouldn't. Service was fast and our waiter was attentive.I didn't give a 5 star overall rating because there was just nothing really special about the meal or service.”

“I came here because of a review I read. It has all kinds of hotdogs, but I was there to try the Arkie Cheesesteak. It did not disappoint. It was loaded with meat on a fresh bun and a pickle slice. It tasted very good and I'll be going back for more. The owner was very friendly. There are picnic tables there where you can enjoy your meal. I have a new place now to stop in. Sorry... the pickle didn't make it long enough to be in the picture. Lol”

The staff is friendly, but very laid back and chill. Coffee options are plentiful and reasonably priced. Breakfast options can get pricey quick with add ons as everything is ala carte. Parking on the street only. Wish they stayed open a little later.”

“We made a spontaneous stop too grab food on our way home and I'm so glad we did. The catfish was spot on, the jumbo shrimp were cooked to crispy perfection and the hushpuppies were delicious. Staff were friendly and attentive. The building is very small and old but clean and well decorated. We will absolutely be back and you should try it too!”

“On the road to visit family during our crystal mining vacation we stop first at Hot Springs and were looking for a burger joint so we Googled and found Five Star Burgers. For our family, traveling equals NEW FOOD EXPERIENCES and we were so happy with this place!! I ordered a classic burger with all the fixings and extra pickles and an unsweetened tea, the boys both got Classic Burgers with Cheese, one with everything but onions, and one with lettuce, pickles, onions and A1 sauce. Our food came at the time expected for the quality. Grade A cooking by the young lady who was also the cashier. The buns were fresh, soft and toasted on the grill, the hamburgers were 100% beef, fresh pressed and grilled to perfection. The toppings were fresh, and tomatoes had flavor! Heirloom tomatoes! The condiments were carefully layered to cover the entire bun surface without oversaturating and mayo done in pencil thin squiggle loops all around the bun to the very edges! After an 8 hr drive this was refreshing and completely satisfying. Will absolutely come again!”

Everything was very filling and we were too full for dessert but will have to go back and try it one day. This will definitely be on my list of favorites whenever I’m in Hot Springs visiting family”

The person taking our order was very patient, and made sure to check twice that he had it all down correctly. They were quick at both of the windows for payment and to give us our food, and the order was mostly correct (we had a cherry freeze and a coke freeze, they gave us both coke). The burgers were wrapped neatly, however the mozzarella sticks had been dumped on the bottom of the bag. Overall, this was a great experience and we enjoyed our meal!”

Sge should have noticed that we weren't getting our food for one thing-and she wasn't busy at all. Let me stress that this is unusual. Typically good food and service.”

Nearly everyone had ordered a different entree and not one person complained about the taste or how the meat was cooked for those of us who ordered a meat entree. “WOW!!! I’m am amazed truly at how great our experience was at this Cracker Barrel. We have been to others that were good but everything about this one was awesome. The food came out hot and really fast which surprised me because they were busy. My boyfriend didn’t want to sit in the middle of the crowd so we asked if we could sit at a table in the back. The waitress who said yes took us back there and carried our menus and napkins over and she. Saw there was some water on the table so she wiped down the table and dried it for us (she wasn’t even our waitress) She was so sweet. Then our waitress (a lovely gal named Rachelle) came over and was super friendly. We told her why we were here and she indulged me in all my questions about Crystal digging. She was so friendly and treated us just like she’d known us for years. While we were waiting for our food that same waitress who wiped down our table came over to adjust the blinds so the sun didn’t blind us. Our food was delicious and made right. It was the best service we’ve had in a long time. So on our way out we stopped to tell the manager how wonderful his staff was and how pleased we were with the service. “This was our first visit to Hot Sprimgs and the first visit to the English Muffin County Kitchen. When I tell you that the variety of English muffins this place has is extraordinary. I had the sweet wheat muffin, and my daughters had the wild blueberry. The meat omelet minus the ham. You can't go wrong with the food here. Our waitress was very informative, and anything we aaked her about concerning the menu she was able to tell us. This place keeps a wait, I would suggest you go early. This place will be top on my list if I ever visit Hot Springs again.”

We got the $5 margs and they were alright, nothing amazing but Tajin on the rim was a nice touch. Our server was attentive and very understanding when my daughter spilled her water. We got the flautas which were covered in crema and queso fresco, yum! Tender chicken and they weren't fried until rock hard (you all know what I mean). We also shared a series of street tacos and omg! The chorizo was by far my favorite. So much so that we ordered a whole slew to go for lunch the next day. All the meat was tender and well-seasoned. I would say, however, if you're a cilantro = soap person like me, make sure to ask for it to be held off as they are very generous with it.”
