“Cool spot in a food truck lot. Catfish breading different but amazing. Good seasoning lighter not so cornbread. Better than all the ones we had in New Orleans. Cajun fries are the best I've ever had. Hot, crunchy, seasoned to perfection. Collard/turnip greens good and green super good and still tasted healthy. Best chicken and dumplings I've ever had. Decent prices too. Homemade hot sauce.Forgot to add the staff there are super friendly, and the chef came out to check on us. You can tell he's a true food person and is very passionate about his art.“
“Fried catfish was excellent. The fried shrimp looked flattened. (Like from a pre-frozen box?) French fries were limp, soft and barely warm. Not crispy at all. Coleslaw was ok. Tasted and looked like there was mustard in it. It had a yellowish tint. Not used to that in coleslaw but, may be the way they make it in this area.“
“This is an INCREDIBLE place to visit!! The speakeasy wasn't the only cool thing about it! The decor and atmosphere was electric and the staff was amazing. The food is some of the best I have ever eaten. The way the pastry chef made the window sill creation blew my mind. I highly recommend this place!“
“I can't speak about all the food here because the chicken fried steak is so good it is rare that I get anything else. I do sneak in every once in a while for breakfast and those biscuits and gravy are good as you will find anywhere in this town.“
“Ok, the problem with this place is that it's not next door to my house! The grilled cheese brisket sandwich is the perfect mix of savory, sweet, and salt. I'm hard to impress, but this was awesome! I'll be back in the area just to eat here! Can I camp out in the parking lot?“
“First time stopping in. Nice and cozy atmosphere with friendly employees. I ordered breakfast and my waitress was a coworker I hadn't seen in 22 years. I had an amazing breakfast and got to visit with her. I highly recommend Rise and Dine.“
“It is absolutely excellent, like most Cracker Barrels. Food and service top notch, and it did not disappoint for lunch after a late night on Central. Only down side is they are very, very busy. We had a 30-minute wait, which isn't the end of the world, and they did notify us ahead of time, but there is nowhere to sit while you wait. There are chairs outside, like all Cracker Barrels, but on a cold day, this isn't ideal. Overall, excellent and recommended. ?“
“We thoroughly enjoyed the food at the Avenue, the ossobuco and meatballs were both delicious! Would strongly recommend. The rooftop bar (separate but part of same hotel) had neat views but was cold. Will be a great place to visit in warmer “
“I've luckily eaten here many times over the last Five Years. New guests be aware that each serving is the equivalent of two at any other restaurants. Breakfast is my favorite as the French Toast with a handful of fresh blueberries and four eggs is my go to. At Lunch just blindfold your self and pick randomly from the menu, can't deliciousness“
