“My husband and I are from Shreveport and took us a little vacation in Hot Springs this past week. We are a SUCKER for a good breakfast joint. We asked a local for recommendations on a down home breakfast spot. She didn't hesitate to let us know about English Muffin. When we went, we were SO impressed and excited to find this place. The atmosphere is very old school diner (which I absolutely love) The food was delicious. We were greeted the moment we walked in. Had several personal interactions. You could tell there were regulars there that clearly come what seems like every day. The food? OMG! The pancakes were so fluffy & definitely homemade. The sausage and eggs were on point. Even the coffee was a delight. Needless to say, it was so great, we HAD to come back the next day for our breakfast before we hit the road back to Shreveport. We can't wait to come back, and yes, we WILL!! Hot Springs, you are lucky to have a place like this and don't take it for granted. We wish there was a spot like this in Shreveport. “I ate there today and it was amazing! I had a catfish dinner, fried okra, and fried green tomatoes. My best friend and I enjoyed our food very much! Everything was amazing, standouts were the coleslaw because most places can not get it right…well Walkers did!!! Also the fried green tomatoes were amazing!!! I have no complaints about my meal and will be returning often! Thank you so much!!!“

“I have loved this place since the 1950s. They have the best malts in the country. It’s also one of the few places you can get a veggie burger. That really tastes great. My son says the cheese burgers are perfect.“

“Splendid sandwiches where every ingredient is fresh and as it should be. Besides the tasty meat, good buttery cheese, crisp veggies, fresh bread, what stood out is the honey mustard dressing and crispy onions. Nice touches that made for a delicious bite.“

“First we arrived at Fisherman’s Wharf, got in quite fast. Very friendly staff we sat and ate dinner with lalo around 6:30. Didn’t get serviced until 6:45, when he came to the table is was very unprofessional and uncomfortable. Overall he did a great job and we got our food quickly, but every time he would approach the table he would have an attitude. The catfish was great, and my husband enjoyed the grouper oscar. 4.3/5* overall“

“Food was amazingly delicious and affordable. Order taker was not so friendly or approachable and made the experience less than stellar. Indoor seating with bench tables and chairs on top of gravel rocks. For two meals with water came out to be $32 that included a cheeseburger and a Ruben sandwich with fries.“

I had the Hawaiian Chicken (will order again) and hubby had the Chef Salad (he would get it again also) The sweet tea was really good. “I can't believe there are only 14 reviews. Bubba's is the bomb for catfish. I live in MO but when in Hot Springs for a week, we are eating there AT LEAST twice. Its been a few years but next month we are there. Can't wait. And def get the tarter sauce. Its the best!“

“Chicken tenders are soooo good and fresh. Love this place but they need to work on the outside. If you didn't know better you would think they were out of business. Weeds all around. When I recommend this place they always say "didn't that place close". Fix up the outside and make it appealable.“

“When we arrived in Hot Springs we found everyone very friendly and offered suggestions. Ohio club was always mentioned. We realized why after a nice afternoon lunch and saw for ourselves the amazing preservation and history. We had the suggested favorite fried pickles and a rueben. Jarod was our waiter and a grateful fountain of history and knowledge to share. A wonderful choice and experience.“

Our order was correct and our food was delicious! I mean, steak cooked to perfection!! The only thing I will say is we did not get any napkins or silverware with our order. “The atmosphere here is unmatched. Live music upstairs, night club downstairs, and karaoke outside. They also do sports games live streams outside on game days. The staff here is so nice. Rob who does Karaoke is the coolest guy there. Hopefully while your there you can get treated to a song by Wild Bill or Mike. Drinks are moderately priced and they are definitely not skimp on portions. Bartenders are well knowledgeable on drinks. Will be back!“

“We really enjoyed our visit to Chili's in Hot Springs. My husband had a burger and fries. I had the Margarita Grilled Chicken off the Guiltless menu, and a spicy Skinny Margarita. Both were so good! The chicken had so much flavor, and the margarita was perfect. I should have taken a picture before I started eating but I was really hungry and forgot. The service was also really good.“

“This restaurant is off the beaten path and we never would’ve chosen it ourselves. However a friend recommended it and we are so glad we listened. We sat outside and had a beautiful view of the sunset and our waiter Ernie was awesome! Very informative, very friendly, and basically just on top of things. We had the New York strip and the lobster tail with twice baked potatoe and broccoli. Plus coconut shrimp for a starter. All of it was absolutely delish!! Will definitely be back!!“

“One of the best breakfasts I had in Hot Springs! I ordered the pancake combo with the extra crispy bacon, and it actually came crispy. The eggs and hash browns came just like I ordered. I also ordered a apple juice and the pancakes were really good! I totally recommend this place.“
