Back Porch Grill Reviews
I got a New York strip and it wasn't great at all. The waiter wasn't very good but sitting outside on the water was nice.
I've been here several times. It's always good and I dine in restaurants almost every week. The biggest test was my mom and aunt who are retired home econ teachers and cooks, they are very picky. To our surprise they loved it and want to come back. They had the marinated chicken, crab legs and shrimp chicken pasta.
Food was great! I had the lobster and my aunt had the crab legs! Everything was very flavorful! I would go back! Highly recommended if you are in the area! Great service! I see a lot of negative reviews, but i guess something has changed! The food was delicious!

The Back Porch Grill provides a good dining experience with attentive servers. The menu includes delicious options like the 4oz filets, cooked to perfection, and the twice baked potato casserole with mushrooms. The dishes are generally well-seasoned and tasty, with popular choices such as pasta with mushrooms, shrimp, and scallions, redfish, chicken pasta, and the lobster and steak combo. The atmosphere can be a little loud initially but becomes more relaxed as the evening progresses. The staff is friendly and attentive, making sure guests are comfortable without being overbearing.
Some customers noted that the food is overall good, though there are minor issues; for example, a baked potato was reported to be hard, and salads may not always be crispy. Pricing can be on the higher side, especially for salads and drinks. Despite some slow service, the restaurant remains a nice place to enjoy a meal near the water, especially if staying at the attached lodging. The ambiance is quiet and pleasant, perfect for a relaxing evening. Overall, the Back Porch Grill is a recommended hidden gem in Hot Springs, with a focus on good food and friendly service.
