“My husband and I are from Shreveport and took us a little vacation in Hot Springs this past week. We are a SUCKER for a good breakfast joint. We asked a local for recommendations on a down home breakfast spot. She didn't hesitate to let us know about English Muffin. When we went, we were SO impressed and excited to find this place. The atmosphere is very old school diner (which I absolutely love) The food was delicious. We were greeted the moment we walked in. Had several personal interactions. You could tell there were regulars there that clearly come what seems like every day. The food? OMG! The pancakes were so fluffy & definitely homemade. The sausage and eggs were on point. Even the coffee was a delight. Needless to say, it was so great, we HAD to come back the next day for our breakfast before we hit the road back to Shreveport. We can't wait to come back, and yes, we WILL!! Hot Springs, you are lucky to have a place like this and don't take it for granted. We wish there was a spot like this in Shreveport. “I ate there today and it was amazing! I had a catfish dinner, fried okra, and fried green tomatoes. My best friend and I enjoyed our food very much! Everything was amazing, standouts were the coleslaw because most places can not get it right…well Walkers did!!! Also the fried green tomatoes were amazing!!! “I have loved this place since the 1950s. They have the best malts in the country. It’s also one of the few places you can get a veggie burger. That really tastes great. My son says the cheese burgers are perfect.“

“I went in this evening to Clampit’s because with my husband and I and ordered a meat bundle package not knowing they needed a 24-48 hour notice the gentleman let me know that with the holiday approaching he would try to squeeze me in but wasn’t sure if it could be done. He took down my phone number and name and he then called me later in the day and let me know that he was able to squeeze us in. We’ve never been there but we’ve heard amazing things about them. We are soo beyond thankful they was able to get that for us!! We definitely will recommend them to others and I’m sure we will return in the future!! “Splendid sandwiches where every ingredient is fresh and as it should be. Besides the tasty meat, good buttery cheese, crisp veggies, fresh bread, what stood out is the honey mustard dressing and crispy onions. Nice touches that made for a delicious bite.“

Indoor seating with bench tables and chairs on top of gravel rocks. For two meals with water came out to be $32 that included a cheeseburger and a Ruben sandwich with fries.“

“First we arrived at Fisherman’s Wharf, got in quite fast. Very friendly staff we sat and ate dinner with lalo around 6:30. Didn’t get serviced until 6:45, when he came to the table is was very unprofessional and uncomfortable. Overall he did a great job and we got our food quickly, but every time he would approach the table he would have an attitude. The catfish was great, and my husband enjoyed the grouper oscar. 4.3/5* overall“

“I can't believe there are only 14 reviews. Bubba's is the bomb for catfish. I live in MO but when in Hot Springs for a week, we are eating there AT LEAST twice. Its been a few years but next month we are there. Can't wait. And def get the tarter sauce. Its the best!“

“Chicken tenders are soooo good and fresh. Love this place but they need to work on the outside. If you didn't know better you would think they were out of business. Weeds all around. When I recommend this place they always say "didn't that place close". Fix up the outside and make it appealable.“

“When we arrived in Hot Springs we found everyone very friendly and offered suggestions. Ohio club was always mentioned. We realized why after a nice afternoon lunch and saw for ourselves the amazing preservation and history. We had the suggested favorite fried pickles and a rueben. Jarod was our waiter and a grateful fountain of history and knowledge to share. A wonderful choice and experience.“

The floor had trash and was dirty. A quick swipe and i wouldnt of felt i was sitting in filth. It was around noon. Not many people in there. Like i said just takes a second to sweep up everything they just wiped onto the floor. Not easy wheelchair access.even the little bit of handycap parking was so tight, it was hard getting in and out of the car. The doors to the entrance are heavy. Takes more than one person to get the wheelchair in. Had staff help coming into dinning room, buy nobody around to help leave. Wheelchair doesn't just fit under the table but tables have a slide out. You have to remind staff that the tables slide out, so you can eat in comfort rather than leave a trail of food from the plate to your mouth. Service was good. It was forced smile to my face as soon as she turned around you could see how she really felt. Maybe she was tired.“

As with most restaurants the entrees are a lot of food. They do not allow couples to split an entree. That was disappointing coz neither of us could eat a full entree. This is the only reason I will not return. If that is not an issue for you then I recommend this restaurant!“

“The atmosphere here is unmatched. Live music upstairs, night club downstairs, and karaoke outside. They also do sports games live streams outside on game days. The staff here is so nice. Rob who does Karaoke is the coolest guy there. Hopefully while your there you can get treated to a song by Wild Bill or Mike. Drinks are moderately priced and they are definitely not skimp on portions. Bartenders are well knowledgeable on drinks. Will be back!“

“This restaurant is off the beaten path and we never would’ve chosen it ourselves. However a friend recommended it and we are so glad we listened. We sat outside and had a beautiful view of the sunset and our waiter Ernie was awesome! Very informative, very friendly, and basically just on top of things. We had the New York strip and the lobster tail with twice baked potatoe and broccoli. Plus coconut shrimp for a starter. All of it was absolutely delish!! Will definitely be back!!“
