“Our first time at Maxine's was on a Saturday. We arrived around 8:45 PM, the place wasn't packed but there was a sizeable crowd.The first thing that we noticed was the decor. It looks like a blend of lowbrow chaos to someone giving some thought of how the place should look - love it.We ordered 2 cocktails listed in the menu. They were both infused with ginger. Then I ordered a beer while my partner had a white Russian.We also ordered pizza, the Whodunit. It was good but there was a long wait for it. My partner said it was better the next day. I plan on ordering a sandwich the next time.Parking: There are a number of parking options. On a Saturday night, it wasn't too difficult to find street parking near this place. We found a spot about 250 feet away.“
“We stopped at the Copper Penny randomly while out walking around Hot Springs and decided to get a drink. We were greeted by the sweetest girl and sat immediately with menus. After looking over the menu we decided to try the Sheppards pie and a few drinks. Let me say this sheppards pie was delicious and our food was delivered hot and fast. We will definitely be back when we come back to Hot Springs.“
“The hamburger with added vegetables was excellent.The sampler beer was also very delicious.3: This beer has a unique flavor and is not like commercially available beer.6: Big wave-like beer: Rich grapefruit and orange flavor.7: Light beer like ultra.14: Heavier than ultra but feels lightbeer.Everything was perfect.It's a bit disappointing that the children's chicken menu was designed so shockingly. How about serving something a little bland for children's health?“
“This was a great place to stay. Comfortable and clean. Staff was friendly and engaging. Great recommendations for restaurants and things to do. Bartender Charlene was awesome! We really enjoyed our visit to Hot Springs! Well worth the trip.“
