The burger was real hamburger meat and was great and the prices was pretty cheap, the wife had the original dog and she loved it

Went there for a quick lunch and both pricing and the service were great. We ordered and our food was delivered fairly quickly. Everything was freshly made. I personally did not care for the brand of ketchup they use and it sits out on the table-i'm a Heinz ketchup snob.
The burgers were just average. The prices were great considering it's in a tourist area and my favorite part of my meal was getting some bluebell ice cream for two dollars. It was a very, very generous serving of nice and creamy hand dipped ice cream. Very refreshing and at a great price. Bubbalus had outstanding service and average food in my opinion.
They also charge a dollar just to get a cup of water which I think is too much if you are ordering meals, but they're overall cost model is extremely competitive for a tourist area so perhaps I don't need to complain about my one dollar cup of water.
They also have a lot of fun, baseball pictures and memorabilia hanging up. Nice atmosphere. it was great for a quick and fairly priced lunch, but not a place I'd go if I was looking for gourmet food.

Loved this place for location, atmosphere and price! Right in the heart of things, we ate at the bar and talked with another couple and ate what we thought for the price, would be just a bite…we were pleasantly surprised by how big the hot dog and burger and fries were! Filled us up and really tasty too!

Great lunch of tasty burgers (hand made) and fries! Owners and staff are very friendly and curtieous. The restaurant is decked out in old baseball player pictures, a fun vibe. This is the cleanest place I've seen in years. Will be back the next time we are in Hot Springs again.

Absolutely loved everything we ordered. The veggie burger and onions rings hit nicely. My wife loved her classic chili cheese dog which she said was super juicy. Oh and my strawberry shake was definitely strawberry'en! 🍓

We were spending the weekend in Hot Springs and heard that Bubbalus was pretty famous- when we arrived we were in high hopes as the outside of the restaurant looked exactly what we were hoping for- a classic burger and dog restaurant. It was nice to see all the food being cooked fresh to order as we walked in. However, when we actually got our food, we weren't that impressed. I ordered the Classy Dog with a side of fries. The fries were unseasoned, and since they had cooled off from the fryer, even when I tried to salt them myself, it didn't do much good. The Classy Dog just tasted like a simple chili dog, except the bread was torn apart underneath so I had to eat it with a fork and knife and not like a hot dog. It was just all pretty average, and nothing to worthwhile.

“Death by a thousand paper cuts” This was a disappointing experience with hidden costs. The restaurant appeared affordable, but the meal became more expensive due to various taxes and an unexpected $1 charge for a disposable water cup, which I find absurd. The food was nothing special, but at least the staff was nice.

Our first time eating at Bubbalus and let me tell, it did not disappoint. Took family who were visiting from Missouri and everyone enjoyed their meal. Their cheeseburger was delicious, in fact one of the best I've had since moving to HS! Others had chili cheese dogs, chicken salad sandwich, and BLT (loaded with bacon). Excellent customer service, too! We will be back!

Burgers were great, buns are on the sweeter side which I love. Chili Cheese fries were yummy too. Everything came out hot and fast! Dog friendly, they offered our pup water, so kind of them. Above and beyond, it started pouring rain as we needed to leave and they offered us bags to cover ourselves and our shopping bags in so we could get to the truck and not be soaked!

Cool atmosphere, liked being able to see them cook, but they use frozen meat and zero seasoning on them. The burger was very bland. Also use white American cheese, which I wasn't expecting. The fries were uncooked. We spent $30 for 2 burgers, 2 fries and free water cups.
