We really enjoyed Cafe 1217! We were so hungry I forgot to take photos of our food! We ordered the chicken Caesar and a chicken salad sandwich! The chicken in the salad was really good - juicy and nice sized chunks! The chicken salad reminded me a lot of my mom’s… and her chicken salad is number one in my book! My only complaints are that the chicken ceasar isn’t a classic chicken ceasar and while good - I don’t know if that’s what I would call it! And the chicken salad was a bit of the wet side even though it had amazing flavor I almost couldn’t eat it as a sandwich because it was slipping off the bread.
Overall, we would eat here again! The desserts look amazing so we will definitely have to try!

Leaves a lot to be desired. To say the food was subpar would be putting it nicely. Not a very lively experience. Expensive for what you get. No coke machine so don’t drink too fast.

I went to this restaurant because it shows vegan options. there were a couple of vegetables in the case that were vegan, but that was all. I was told that what I ordered was vegan, but then that it was not. since I am not strictly a vegan, that wasn't a major issue, but then it was not all that tasty, either. I mentioned all this because vegans who think they are going to have decent options may be disappointed 9maybe they have more vegan options on some days)

The carrot cake was moist & delicious. The salads were inventive and flavorful. They don’t serve you at the table, but it wasn’t crowded - so not a problem to pick everything up at the counter.
