What a gem! Its not much to look at from the street but we were so pleasantly suprised at our experience. We got the $5 margs and they were alright, nothing amazing but Tajin on the rim was a nice touch. Our server was attentive and very understanding when my daughter spilled her water. We got the flautas which were covered in crema and queso fresco, yum! Tender chicken and they weren't fried until rock hard (you all know what I mean). We also shared a series of street tacos and omg! The chorizo was by far my favorite. So much so that we ordered a whole slew to go for lunch the next day. All the meat was tender and well-seasoned. I would say, however, if you're a cilantro = soap person like me, make sure to ask for it to be held off as they are very generous with it.

My bestie of 24 years and I are on a girls’ trip from SouthEast Texas on the border with Louisiana. We have some of the best cuisine in the country, so it was hard for us to find anywhere to eat in Hot Springs that was even remotely “good” to us. We were going off reviews and locals’ recommendations and kept getting disappointed. We Googled and found this place and…. THANK HEAVEN!!!! We were danged near starved til we came here!!! The BEST drink menu we’ve found and the most amazing food menu. We ordered 4 different entrees and each blew our minds. COME HERE if you’re hungry in Hot Springs.
First time trying we will definitely go back Service was Amazing Food was delicious a hidden gem in Hot

1st time eating here! My flautas were the bomb. I also had the carne asada and al pastor tacos. Perfect! Hard to find delicious Mexican food around here. As a Chicagoan I have high expectations with Mexican food. Definitely delicious and love the ambiance of the location! ??????⭐️

The food was not salted enough, rather bland tasting with the cactus entree. Our server never brought a napkins or utensils the BLT croissant was delish and your red sauce was good

My entire experience at Cafe Kahlo this weekend was excellent. I devoured my Chilaquiles Verdes with the homemade corn tortillas. The muddled cilantro and lime mocktail they made for me was spectacular. (I could drink a gallon .) A group of us are planning to go back next weekend. The atmosphere is very inviting and service was impeccable.
