If you love Taco Tuesday as much as I do, then go to the Don Juan on Albert Pike as opposed to the one on malvern Ave. Why? Bc you can get soft tacos or crunchy, the Malvern ave. location only offers crunchy tacos. Plus you get chips and salsa with your to go order where you do not on Malvern ave location. Just like to get the most for my money!

This has been our very favorite Mexican restaurant for close to 30 years. The food has been consistently very good. Their salsa is the best! Our favorites are fajitas, nachos fajita, burrito gigante with cheese sauce, and my personal favorite that I order every time are sopes (chicken). I had them at a couple of other Mexican restaurants in town and didn't like them at all. The portions are really good, too. The atmosphere and great and it's always clean.

Food was not worth the money and their Taco Tuesday taco deal is a joke. Small groundbreaking street tacos that isn't enough to feed a child and no option to change meat to carne asada or chicken without a steep price jump!!!!

I called in an order for pick up and she said it would be ready in twenty minutes and my order wasn't ready for over an hour and they weren't even busy. The food was cold so I had to reheat my food. The food had no flavor,no seasoning, it wasn't very good at all.I don't like the very mild red salsa they give you with your order so while I was at the restaurant I asked for the green hot salsa and was told that they charge extra for the hot salsa even after waiting close to an hour and a half and I do not eat the mild red salsa and didn't want it,I should've walked out without the food and without paying. The employees were very rude, the food was very overpriced and not authentic at all.

My husband and I went for lunch yesterday off of a recommendation. The place had nice atmosphere, decent pricing, and good service but the food was awful! I was excited at first because the chips and salsa were really good but then our meal came. I had lunch special #1 with Chile rellano, taco, and refried beans. The taco meat tasted off and kind of sour. The rellano was swimming in queso and I couldn't hardly taste the authentic Mexican flavor they brag about. I don't know what they do to the refried beans but they tasted old and strange. My husband had a taco and enchilada. Again, the taco meat was sour and the enchilada looked and tasted raw. Needless to say, we won't be back.

our service was very rude and disrespectful. we asked for her multiple times and she only came by our table twice. she also had an attitude with us while we was ordering cutting us off, while we was leaving we asked for to go drinks and she was trying to charge us more.

My husband and I travel quite a lot whether for vacation or doctors. We have eaten at a lot of Mexican restaurants. Including the ones in our own hometown, this restaurant was the best by far. My favorite has always been one at home. The salsa tasted excellent. The chips were thin and warm. Exactly how they are supposed to be. My husband's Chile relleno was the best he has ever had. The first time, he said he has ever gotten full to where he was about to bust, lol. My chicken fajitas were excellent, too. Our waiter Diego was very polite. We couldn't have asked for a better one. Best cook around. I'm a restaurant manager, and I would definitely give him a raise if he is an employee and not the owner, lol. Pay your employees who do a great job well, so they won't go somewhere else. That's to anyone who reads this.

Make sure to look over your receipt! We had an order of 2 Cheese Enchiladas which came with rice and beans, and an order of 3 Cheese Enchiladas which also came with rice and beans. We both had water and had one large cheese dip. We were charged $39 and some change BEFORE tax. It was around 1:15 p.m. during the week so we were ordering off the lunch menu. Each meal was suppose to be less than $13 each and the cheese dip was less than $6 to $7 dollars. At the most (before tax) it would have been $33. It was $39. When I asked why she said it was A la carte..I didn't order it a la carte. Needless to say I did NOT leave a tip and I will NOT be back. Hot Springs has a lot of very good Mexican Resturants so there are many other places I can eat. I don't appreciate being ripped off!! BTW look at these reviews, there's at least one more where another person was ripped off. Buyer Beware!!
