If you love Taco Tuesday as much as I do, then go to the Don Juan on Albert Pike as opposed to the one on malvern Ave. Why? Bc you can get soft tacos or crunchy, the Malvern ave. location only offers crunchy tacos. Plus you get chips and salsa with your to go order where you do not on Malvern ave location. Just like to get the most for my money!
This has been our very favorite Mexican restaurant for close to 30 years. The food has been consistently very good. Their salsa is the best! Our favorites are fajitas, nachos fajita, burrito gigante with cheese sauce, and my personal favorite that I order every time are sopes (chicken). I had them at a couple of other Mexican restaurants in town and didn't like them at all. The portions are really good, too. The atmosphere and great and it's always clean.
My husband and I travel quite a lot whether for vacation or doctors. We have eaten at a lot of Mexican restaurants. Including the ones in our own hometown, this restaurant was the best by far. My favorite has always been one at home. The salsa tasted excellent. The chips were thin and warm. Exactly how they are supposed to be. My husband's Chile relleno was the best he has ever had. The first time, he said he has ever gotten full to where he was about to bust, lol. My chicken...
