We were in hot springs for a weekend. Someone had suggested Don Juan's authentic Mexican restaurant to us. Food was good service was good atmosphere is nice. Not a bad place to stop for some good Mexican food.
We dropped in for the lunch specials this afternoon. The chips and salsa were fresh and tasty. The iced tea was excellent. Then the food arrived. Both plates had chile rellenos. We ordered them with cheese sauce and they were delicious. The ground beef taco was seasoned well and was huge. Even the refried beans were delicious. They were perfectly seasoned. Clearly the kitchen knows how to cook and pays attention to details.
Great food. We tried enchiladas, barbacoa tacos, and a chorizo & potato burrito. Their basic queso is really good, and the mango margarita was very strong and tasty. Would definitely recommend.
