Pancakes were quite good, biscuits and gravy too, decent coffee, reasonable pricing. The service was quick but somewhat cool. The cafe has a lot of sunshine coming in the large windows and interesting decor and plants. Pretty chill vibe.

Tiny place with not great food that they charge great prices for. I had a strawberry french toast with sausage. My son had the cheese omlette plate and my husband had the 2 egg plate. It was $60.00. Will not return.

I can't speak about all the food here because the chicken fried steak is so good it is rare that I get anything else. I do sneak in every once in a while for breakfast and those biscuits and gravy are good as you will find anywhere in this town.

We decided to try this restaurant out this morning. We got the pancakes for the baby and an order of biscuits and gravy for both of us. The pancakes and bacon were amazing but the biscuits and gravy had undercooked flour. Once the waitress heard the uncooked flour she offered to get us anything to replace the biscuits and gravy but the raw flour was off putting so we were a little nauseous from it. The waitress then proceeds to comp our entire meal even though we were still willing to pay for it. I love how this restaurant owns up to their mistakes and tries to make the customer happy. It might have been a bad experience on some of the food but the staff made it amazing and I will 100% give them another shot.

We usually go to Phil's but wanted to try something new. Ordered the veggie omelet and it was great. My only pet peev is using canned mushrooms instead of fresh mushrooms. The pancakes aren't as big as phils which I loved because it had a crispy edge on the pancakes. (Chefs kiss) The atmosphere is a bit stall. Not rude by any means. I will definitely come back. The omelet and pancakes are so worth it.
Always a great place to eat breakfast! Whether it's omelets or pancakes. Good service, with just a couple waitresses covering all the tables. Go after noon and your table can have their choice of breakfast or lunch.

Tried to switch out pancakes for French toast on their breakfast special. The waitress went off about there’s no substitutions. Really come on the French toast is cheaper than the pancakes on the menus and she could have at least given another option. This is another place I’ll never be coming back to. Seems like the service gets worse every year in this town.

Wonderful service! Amazing food! Best breakfast we've had in awhile!! Higdon Square Cafe in Hot Springs!!! 10/10!! Excellent service. Food was outstanding. We had the ham and cheese omelet with home fries. The omelet was large, fluffy, moist with lots of cheese and ham. Home fries were wonderfully prepared with finely diced green peppers and onions in them. Also had the full order of biscuits and gravy with sausage and an egg over medium on top. The biscuits are fluffy!! Wonderful as well. Next time, would only need a half order of that and no egg needed. We can't wait to go back!!! I feel like it is a hidden gem!
