Definitely one of the best Ice cream places. The owner is super nice and puts so much effort into the ice cream. You can walk by and smell the freshly made ice cream cones. My choice is the Toasted Coconut. Definitely the best ice cream in Hot Springs, Arkansas!
Great ice cream and chocolates. Love coming here each time we make it to Hot Springs.

Had taste for ice cream during my stay in Hot Springs, Arkansas, and someone told me to go to Kilwins Ice Cream. In addition to great ice cream, Kilwins has gourmet Carmel apples, all types of gourmet candy. What was so cool about them, they made their carmel apples and waffle cones and bowls right there in the store. You can see them making it right there in the window as you approach the store. The ice cream and carmel apples and turtle apples were so delicious that we visited this store 3 times. Two Thumbs Up for Kilwins Ice Cream!!!

We spent last weekend in Hotsprings, Arkansas and had a blast. There were several different ice cream shops around, but this place was the best. It had amazing flavors and they made their waffle cones fresh daily. In fact when we were waiting in line to order our scoops they were making more. They also have fudge and other sweets there. We only bought the ice cream. If you go to Hotsprings you have to try this ice cream. They are on the expensive side, the place in the basement at the Arlington was cheaper, but not as good. I got the regular old fashion cone, but the waffle cones are great too, my kiddos go those. Try the apple pie flavor, you won't regret it.

I got the strawberry chunk (which tastes a lot like Hagen Daas which is excellent) and their cookies and cream and was delicious! There was only one older man working but he was cranking through customers like no problem. Great ice cream!

Almost ordered, loved the selection of flavors, but was put off because he wasn't wearing gloves and was scooping ice cream and handling money. We went up the street to a different place and the young man was using gloves each time he scooped and took them off to ring customers up.

"I'd like a hot fudge sundae with extra hot fudge, please."
"There won't be room for extra hot fudge after I put the ice-cream in the bowl."
"Can you just give me less ice-cream to make room for the extra hot fudge?"
"No. I have to give you all of the ice-cream."
This was the actual conversation between my wife, who ended up not getting any "Kilwins" ice-cream, and the elderly gentleman working behind the counter who we presume was important enough to be difficult to customers that waited in his line of disappointment for over 20 minutes.
Do yourself a favor and just keep walking past Kilwins to one of the local businesses listed in the Google Maps pic attached to this review. Some are within close proximity to Kilwins but unlike Kilwins, they would be more than happy to serve you ice-cream the way YOU like it.

The caramel apples were being freshly dipped in the front and scent of waffle cones was amazing.Went with Greek yogurt with raspberry swirl ice cream and it was yummy.Tried my daughter's waffle cone and it was crunchy and delicious. The fudge and candy all looked so good. We'll be back. This place hands down beats a popular cupcake sweet shop. Wish I took a picture.
Stopped here for ice cream while visiting hot springs national park. Prices are decent and they have lot of varieties not just for ice cream but they also sell various types of milkshakes, fudge, chocolate /caramel covered fruits, peanut brittle etc
Never been disappointed in the 10 years I’ve been visiting.
