went there for lunch with my family on Sunday and just checked my credit card statement and they charged me almost double for what my bill actually was. update: got $90 back. spoke to someone I was told was the manager and after he did some research he found my ticket from the day and figured out that he had "accidentally" typed $95 for the tip instead of $5. which was odd because when we did the receipt we broke total at the bottom. so you would think that if the total at the bottom of my receipt didn't match the total on the screen after he finished that he would question it but apparently not so he tipped himself almost what my bill was. I have a feeling I wasn't the first person and I have a feeling I won't be the last person and all I can say is if you use a card there. keep an eye on your your bill and if you have previously used a card there I'd take a look at my statement now

This is a clean looking place and seems to get some good press. We were there June 12th, 2025 about 1:30 or so. We were seated pretty quickly as they did not appear to be busy. Service was very good, except that the server accidentally missed part of our order, which was quickly remedied. The food appeared at the table quickly and I suspect I know why, probably made well ahead of time and simply plated when we ordered. The problem is that, for the most part, food was nothing to write home about. The chips were fresh and crisp and salsas were good, BTW they serve two different types of salsa, but do not explain the difference. I figured it out on my own. The queso dip stood out as very good but proved to be extremely expensive! (More on that later.) Portions were surprisingly small, particularly the rice and beans. The rice looked really nice but was bland, almost unseasoned. Almost the same situation with the beans. I know it was not that good, because my teen aged great niece, who said she was "hungry enough to eat a warm sock" did not finish her meal. My food was lukewarm for the most part. My son is a chef and lives in Puerto Rico, he can instruct you as to how to properly season beans, rice and present a fresh hot meal on your table. It is not rocket science, but it requires more than just a minimum effort. On a positive note, no one got sick from the food. The real shocker came with the check. With my generous $10 tip (for good service), the ticket was just over $90! This was supposedly for LUNCH portion menu items. That is $22.50 per person (4 people including tax and tip) for what I would judge as mostly average food. The queso dip, while very good, was a real shocker at $9.99, for what I would call a medium sized bowl, at best. We regularly eat at Mexican/Hispanic restaurants all over the region, with few exceptions, most are better than this place, and they charge considerably less for better, hotter food and in larger portions. We certainly expected much better. I am sorry to have to write this but the owners need to know what is going on. I am not one to complain and make a scene over the prices or the food; they are what they are. In tourist towns, restaurants have one chance to make an impression, this place did not leave a lasting positive impression. We came, we ate and we will not be back.

The service was awesome. One of the best margaritas I've ever had by being smoother and tasty but seemed to have a slight creaminess to it. The food was right on and plentiful. I only wish they were in Florida!

Great food and service. We had a group of 14 and they were very attentive. Clean with fun decor.

The menu is lacking a lot of information the California burrito stated with rice and beans sour cream guacamole. Not stating
Everything was in the burrito. The chicken in the burrito if any was sparce. My wife's was supposed to have beef, both were mostly beans. Sad enough the meal was less than expected, my change came back $10.00 short. Will never return to this restaurant, and we eat at least twice a week in Mexican restaurants.

When they brought out chips they brought out 3 salsa in tiny condiment bowls. The first one was a warm fruit salsa and the other 2 tasted the same. No one ever explained if they was different. The Carne asada tacos and the meat tasted weird. The cheese dip was good. The beans and rice was dry. Would not recommend.

Food was hit and miss. My steak burrito was delicious. My wife’s chicken tacos were not so good.

Service was a bit frustrating. Asked for a refill of drinks. She only brought one when clearly the whole table was empty. Then server tried to charge us for drinks even when we only ordered water.

I’d try it again if I was local. But since I’m here on vacation I’ll prob skip it in the future.

Unlike every taco truck in this country, this place won't let you mix and match street tacos. It's so petty and pathetic that I'm making a point of saying so. Their food isn't anything special at all. The definition of run of the mill. La Hacienda: Where the customer is always wrong.
