We went here at about 4pm on a hot August Sunday. I liked how dark and cool it was inside, and it was decorated nicely. There was no table service, and we had to go to the bar to order drinks and food, which was kinda meh. But I had an outstanding spicy Bloody Mary, and the deep dish pizza was very good.

We came in, especially for a deep dish! Did not disappoint. We had the godfather, loaded with mean and bellpeppers ,the service was amazing, and they definitely made us feel at home. We had a great time listening to music and enjoying our dinner. HR was even there!

Coolest bar in town where you're sure to bump shoulders ( Miss USA 😜) with locals and visitors alike. True bar pub feel with a stage venue. Not sure if they served food or not. The bartenders were on point however; the drinks were delicious.

One of my favorite places to gig. I live in Wagoner, Ok but my band has played a Maxine's a few times and it's always the best time and so worth the 4 hour drive. Their staff are always so friendly and accommodating. Pizza is sick (In the good way) sound staff are amazing. Love to play there, can't wait to get back. #TheSquirrels

This was my favorite spot in town. Great bourbon collection. Casual and chill. May be a little rough around the edges for some people. Only bad thing I can say.... bathrooms need a good cleaning. Had a slice of a deep dish pie $5, which was pretty decent. $2 PBR which was great because couldn't find it anywhere else in town.

Nastiest dive bar I have ever been to. The bathroom was absolutely filthy. Our waitress (unsure of her name but had long black hair in pigtails with the front pieces hanging out) was very unresponsive and wouldn’t serve us for VERY long periods at a time. I ordered a Ranch Water (very common cocktail in the south… or really anywhere) and was served a tequila soda water with bottom shelf. A group of men arrived after my fiancé and myself, sat behind us, and discussed abusing their girlfriends. We both felt very very unsafe - the waitresses, a man in management (that the waitresses referred to as HR) all sat there and did nothing. Hot Springs truly needs to do better!!!!!
Added note on 6/4/25 based on the below response from Maxines: I’m happy to supply our bank account charge showing Maxine’s. The “waitress” above is in response to the bartender AND waitress (as they were serving food too) that served us. She was a thicker young woman with long black hair and the other bartender was a thin blonde woman with bangs. Unfortunately, this did occur at Maxine’s in Hot Springs Arkansas, but no need to take accountability clearly! Head on over to Ohio Club for a better experience.
