Great place to eat breakfast!

Immediately got attitude from who I am assuming was the manager because we have 6 people in our party. My husband made sure it was okay to move tables, as it says seat yourself. She told us we couldn't sit where we chosen because another large party was already over there and she moved tables elsewhere, which was fine, but the annoyed attitude she gave us made us want to leave right there and we would have had the first place we tried not been a line out the door. My table and floor was dirty and sticky. Our server was very polite but we had to get our own straws and request refills or we didnt get any. The food was alright. Not much of a selection for my children. I personally would not go back.

A great quick stop to eat at

I ordered a BLT sandwich. The bread and bacon were both burned, one tiny piece of wilted lettuce, and a minuscule slice of tomato and no mayo. I ordered French fries which were cold. My husband ordered eggs with sausage, and his food was better, although not great.

I don’t typically leave reviews, but after our recent experience, I felt this needed to be shared. First, let me be clear: the food was a 10/10. The kitchen staff were absolutely on point and clearly know what they’re doing. Unfortunately, the front-of-house experience didn’t match that same standard.

From the moment we walked in, it was apparent that the restaurant lacks structure and organization. There was no host, no clear seating system, and very little communication among staff. We were seated with no silverware, and when it did arrive, our server (Emersyn) placed it on the table only to immediately take it back and stuff it into her apron without explanation — it was an odd and unprofessional interaction.

While the servers were visibly working hard, the entire operation felt chaotic. Food was sitting in the window for over 20 minutes before being delivered. My husband’s chocolate milk was served with something clearly unsanitary on the rim of the glass. At one point, we watched a 10-person party get turned away simply due to poor planning and lack of capacity.

When we went to pay (since we never received a bill at the table), our server quoted a price without so much as eye contact. I asked for a ticket, and she pulled it from the printer with attitude and dropped it on the counter. When I handed her the money, she snatched it from my hand and returned the change without a word.

To make matters worse, the roles seemed totally unclear: the cook was helping wash dishes, and the dishwasher was bussing tables. While flexibility is part of restaurant work, this looked more like confusion than teamwork.

This restaurant has so much potential — again, the food was fantastic. But it’s in urgent need of leadership, training, and staffing. A business consultant could easily step in and help implement clear systems: assigned sections, a host to greet and seat guests, an expo to manage food flow, and training for front-of-house staff on customer service.

I’d love to come back for the food, but until these issues are addressed, it’s hard to recommend the overall experience.

Here are some simple improvements they could make:
• Hire an expeditor (expo) to organize food tickets and ensure plates are correctly assembled and delivered.
• Assign each waitress a specific section with a seating chart to avoid confusion.
• Waitresses should be responsible for bussing their own tables—instead, we saw the dishwasher also clearing tables, which isn’t efficient or sanitary.
• A designated host should be seating guests, handing out silverware, and keeping track of who’s been served.

First time here, and better than I expected. 5-Stars all the way around. The Service, Prices and best of all was the Excellent Food & cleanliness. This is a perfect place to get great food and friendly faces.

Parking: there is parking in front of the track kitchen, as well as the back of the track kitchen. The location is on the far side of the race track at the corner of golf links in Central Avenue, but you can get there through the parking lot of the Oaklawn racing and casino.

I ate here a couple weeks ago with my fiancé. Our waitress was nice. However when I got my burger, I took a bite of it, and just so happen to flip it over and the bottom of my bun was covered in mold. 🤮The waitress apologized. Then the manger brought me another one and told me I didn’t have to pay for my order. I will not be returning there!!!

Absolutely the slowest service ever! The manager was not helping the overwhelmed staff and in turn sat 30 minutes before getting drinks and an hour before getting food in a half empty dining room. Watch as they add gratuity to the check as if it’s left up to you you wouldn’t tip because of the terrible service and wait times

My son and I visited today after a recommendation for my boyfriend. We visited on a Sunday before the church crowd arrived.

I had looked up their menu online. Their online menu showed strawberry banana French toast. However, when we arrived, there was a limited breakfast menu. So I ended up getting the strawberry pancake stack. The waitress asked me how many I wanted and said that this stack usually comes with 4.But they are very large pancakes. I opted for only 2, and I'm glad that I did! The pancakes are massive! I think they're multigrain, but were tasty.

My son ordered the superfecta, which consisted of eggs, bacon (your choice of bacon, sausage, or ham), hashbrowns, and one pancake. He also mentioned that he thought the pancakes were also wheat or multigrain. He said everything was tasty as well.

The prices were decent for the size of pancakes. If you can eat four of them, you're definitely getting your money's worth!

Victoria was our waitress. She was very pleasant and helpful when it came to ordering.

Would recommend and will be repeat customers.

Worst restaurant experience my family and I have ever had. We waited at the table for 50 minutes. They took over 30 minutes to even come oger to us and ask our drink order and we never got our drinks. Told the waitress we were ready to order our food multiple times and she told us we had to wait. The restaurant was not busy and over half empty! They were talking and ignoring us the entire time. So rude when they spoke to us. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE. horrible way to start our vacation. 0 stars
