This place was swamped on Tuesday night. The decor and history of the place were really cool to learn about. I didn't even realize that they had to take the front of the building off in order to get the bar inside. The bar itself is the original since it was first built. We stopped in a nightcap. They have a little stage and place for music in the back. The only issue I found was that the place was small, so seating was super tight, and there were many tables right on top of each other. The staff was super accommodating in trying to make everyone in the place comfortable, given the tight seating.

A place for distinguished gentlemen and ladies to dine in. The waitress we had was great and the atmosphere was lively, along with cool little pieces exclusive to this restaurant showcasing its history, i hope I get to come here when a band plays next time I visit <3

Arrived mid afternoon and found a table at the top of the stairs. We waited for a server to wait on us but all we got was "I will be with you in a minute". I realized they were busy but 30 minutes later we decided it was worth the wait. When we were leaving the server that was supposed to wait on us grunted as we walked by knowing she lost the table. Here is what they lost. We are locals and brought out of town friends there. The bill would have probably been over $100 so they lost that revenue plus the guest would have bought 3 shirts. I will never recommend the Ohio Club to visitors based on the poor service. A customer waiting for a table asked us how it was on the way out and we told her we waited 30 minutes for no service. They followed us out the door not wanting the same experience. The Ohio Club is an staple in Hot Springs landscape and I doubt this will affect them but there is no excuse for having to wait 30 minutes to be acknowledged.

Oldest bar in Arkansas, you gotta go experience it!
Went for the eclipse. Very cool old bar. Live music. The food is not very good though. The Ruben had thicker slices of meat than one should have. Ordered a Burger MR with no mustard. Told our server twice no mustard. It came slathered in mustard. Took it back and then the new bun had no mustard but not toasted and cold and the burger was well done. But if you want to get a few drinks and hear live music nice spot but the kitchen is lacking.

A lot of history in this place! The bartenders and waitresses were very welcoming and made you feel comfortable from the time you walked in. I loved the old bar and appreciated the wood carvings in it as well as the tin punched ceilings. The menus told the story of the Ohio bar and I found that very interesting and informational. I love that the town keeps their old buildings and heritage going. Great spirits and great company!

We were here for the 2024 eclipse in this lovely town and had a couple of their delicious Total Solar Eclipse drinks. Our bartender was super! We didn’t actually have food but I’m sure it’s delicious too. Super.charming, must-see local bar in Hot Springs ?.
