Delicious home style cooking with the largest portions I’ve ever seen. I’ve been there a few times & always great food & great service but our server today was exceptional. I wish I could remember her name because she definitely deserves a shout out. As always we left with tons of leftovers. Yum!
Was there this past Sat morning. Our Service was horrible!! Young Dark headed with hair in a bun. She acted like we were a bother to her. NEVER got refills on coffee, wasn't checked on till we were done. She just stood up at the bar (counter) and talked to this couple the entire time.
Huge portions and food was okay. Toast must have been done on the flat top. Was gross and could taste other things.
We really wanted to get other food and then dont want bad service again.
I don’t understand all the rave reviews. It’s not good at all, just huge portions. But I didn’t eat hardly any of it. Today I ordered the chicken fried steak (it’s a frozen patty). It was not fried crispy and the coating was doughy…gross. The gravy is from a packet, green beans and pinto beans no seasoning at all other than salt. Rolls are from a bag.
