What a special place to have breakfast. A wonderful sweet waitress. The biscuits & gravy best ever. The waffles were huge. Phil is actually the cook and has been for many years. Love, love this place.

We stopped by Phil’s and decided to try the daily special — the meatloaf — and wow, what a meal! We were served a mountain of creamy mashed potatoes smothered in rich, beefy brown gravy, alongside a hearty portion of perfectly seasoned meatloaf. It was enough food to feed three people, and we left absolutely stuffed and happy.
The service was just as good as the food — our server was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed the entire time. The inside of the restaurant has a fun, kitschy charm that makes it feel cozy and welcoming.
If you’re in Hot Springs and looking for a down-home meal done right, Phil’s is definitely worth the stop!

I hardly ever write restaurant reviews, but Phil’s was great. We had a late breakfast on a Saturday and the service was friendly, we got our food very quickly, and the portions were generous. Atmosphere is laid back and homey. I definitely want to go back next time we’re in Hot Springs!

Absolutely recommend this place!! Portions were huge and the food was soo good. Paul waited on us and he was very friendly and did a fantastic job. The young lady (I’m sorry I don’t remember her name, Tina I think) who spoke with us about local attractions was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. 10/10 highly recommend.
