We've had the homemade ice cream every time we come to Hot Springs and in the past I've given it 5 stars but something was off this time. I purchased 2 large bowls of ice cream one peanut butter and chocolate. The other was cake batter. My husband said the peanut butter chocolate was good but I couldn't even begin to eat a 1/4 of my cake batter. It had a horrible taste of cleaning chemical. I don't have a clue but I had to toss the WHOLE large bowl. I was disappointed to say the least not only because they normally have such fantastic homemade ice cream but also because it's not cheap!!
I would have turned around and gone back in but the person working didn't seem to be in the best mood. Not friendly or really rude, just didn't care to be there!! Unlike all the other times normally the staff is very friendly.
