10/10 do NOT recommend. The food came out a fast it was obviously precooked. The meal was inedible especially the potato pancake. I asked for sour cream and it was separated. Our server forgot about us. We never got bread either. We’re not going back.

This restaurant gets worse every year. Most terrible meal ever today. I ordered the veal schnitzel which I only took four bites of, the meat had not been pounded at all, it didn’t have the texture of meat. The potato pancake was inedible, an odd round gray cold disc, the spatzle noodles were old and soggy, I couldn’t eat them either. All the items in the meals had been prepared a day or more in advance, microwaved and placed on cold plates. Everyone got bread but us, even though we asked nicely. I can’t remember the last time I spent over $100 on dinner for two and neither of us could eat any of the food. We left with our appetites ruined.

I had the beef stroganoff and that was delicious. You are guaranteed two sides. One of the sides is the noodles with your meal. I had the mashed potatoes as my second side. They were terrible! Everyone at my table that had different types of potatoes-it was all awful. So be prepared to add noodles for a side when it should be part of the main dish ( when is beef stroganoff just beef?) and do not order any type of potato.

We ordered the meatloaf appetizer and the pork cutlets as a main with sides Brussel sprouts with beer cheese and the potato cakes with apple sauce. We loved the flavors of everything. I’ve been to a few other German restaurants and this one by far had the most flavorful foods. Service was quick and friendly.

Our experience was disappointing. Our server, Michelle, did a good job, but we waited an interminable time for food that varied in its quality. The good: the variety of rolls in the bread basket was notable and all were very good, especially the rye and the one with sesame seeds. The red cabbage was delicious. The cheesy spaetzle was very good. The mediocre: The soup my husband ordered was a special for St. Patrick's Day and sounded delicious, but it must have been sitting around on the heat for a while, as it was late in the day, because was very salty.I ordered the "night hours" with red cabbage and the spaetzle. From the description on the menu, I expected a piece of meat with a sauce and chunks of mushroom and bacon. When my meal arrived, the meat was covered in a sauce that had no evidence of mushrooms and no visible bacon. In sharing a piece with my husband, I did find one small square of bacon. The spaetzle that came with the entree had none of the cheese sauce described on the menu. The food was not hot enough, either. It wasn't cold, it was just lukewarm. It puzzles me that when it took so long to come out of the kitchen it didn't seem freshly made. When I told our server I was disappointed, she did everything she could to try to make our meal better. She brought an order of mushrooms since the menu had me expecting them with my entree and there were none, and she brought me spaetzle with the cheese sauce as described in the menu. Both of these additions were very good! The management also offered us a free dessert because of the experience, which was appreciated. There's evidence that some of the food here is very good! The atmosphere in the cavernous dining room was neat. Our waitress was good. The wait for food, though, and the overall quality of what we received, was disappointing when we had high hopes for the place.

THIS PLACE HAD LIFE CHANGING FOOD FLAVOR! ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT AND CAN'T TALK ABOUT HOW GOOD THE COOKS ARE ENOUGH!Food:Absolutely phenomenal and amazing. I'm a Black American and have never had German based food before due to where I live in Texas. Wifey and I wanted to try something new and even I say we were ABSOLUTELY BLOWN AWAY!!! I had the stroganoff with red cabbage and the noodles and I can't remember the name of hers. Both dishes on their first taste no matter what the item was on the plate blew our taste buds out the water. We would literally drive all the way from Texas just to eat here again to confirm that the food is that good. If you haven't eaten here, I'd fully in good faith recommend it.Atmosphere:Nice. They had an older woman playing the life out of an accordion (that's a good thing, means she sounded good). It is also a nice underground spot.PriceModerately priced. It's not the cheapest but not too expensive. That's why it's more $$ priced. You absolutely get great portion sizes for what you order and it is filling. So the price matches what you get in my opinion, and that's a good thing.Adult BeveragesGreat tasting, great pours, and roughly $11 per.Customer serviceIt was cool. Nothing to exactly write home about but they had good recommendations. I wasn't amazed with anything our waiter did, but he was nice and did his job.Mindset discountYes - roughly 10%Bottom LineIf you're from out of town or even live here and never tried this place, you have to try it. It's worth the money.Parking: Parking can be easy and it can also be based on luck. So be aware of your time you need to leave to leave time to find parking.

Authentic and great beer selection. Bartender was very helpful to find flavor profiles

We brought some friends who had never had authentic German food! The entire experience was amazing! Our server was so composed, kind and responsive! She was excellent! The food was delicious! They were extremely pleased! You know have 4 more returning customers in addition to us! Thanks so much for a wonderful time

The food was subpar and inedible. Very expensive for the poor quality and taste. The fondue was made with smoked Gouda and tasted like a bad hotdog. The wait staff were very good, so we certainly can't blame them for the poor experience. Wish I had that $110 back for food that was thrown away.
