For hot springs it was good it's not the best BBQ or sweet tea I have had but it was good if ever back there I would eat there again the pit master is the one that cuts up the meat for u as well

Great place to stop for a quick bite and great BBQ! Everything made fresh daily. Reasonable prices for the amount of food you get! My husband and I shared the loaded baked potato. It was plenty of food for both of us! They also give you white bread and butter, which I like. My daughter got the half a chicken with baked beans. She loved the chicken! My son got the pulled pork sandwich off the kid's menu and he loved it. Definitely recommend if you are in the area and want some good BBQ!
Ribs are my go-to. A visit to Hot Springs has to include a stop at Stubby's!

To begin with, I didn't think anyone could overcook a baked potato. Then, to cover said potato in 2 large scoops of bbq sauce that stopped short of being sloppy joe sauce because it's a bbq restaurant. I've never had trouble cutting through the skin of a baked potato before. The brisket was grisly and I felt bad for the animal that died for our meal. Quality bbq places do not charge over $15 for a smothered baked potato.
We have eaten a lot of bbq and this was seriously the ONLY place we would NEVER dine in again.
The regulars seem to love it. We did not.
The staff was VERY KIND and that is the only good take away.

I live in louisiana and go to Hot Spring often, each time we go we try somewhere new to eat, we always say that this place was next on the list, So tonight we tried it.. Can honestly say we had been missing out.. from the time we walked in the door the employees were very nice and very friendly and so helpful on helping us order, food was awesome and potions were nice size, let me just say we got our money's worth, we will definitely be going back again and again thank you for your awesome service and and delicious food, and friendly atmosphere..
I have yet to be disappointed by anyone or any food at stubbys. The way their staff act, are what is missing from this planet! I appreciate their friendliness EVERY TIME I GO ! THANK YOU! Also their smoked turkey for Thanksgiving is fantastic. Smoked, just smoked! Loved it! Happy Thanksgiving 2024!
