Wonderful dive bar with the best Deep Dish Pizza I've had outside of Gino's East in Chicago. Dog friendly to boot!

Stopped in here because there was an hour wait at the Pancake Shop. Ordered the Classic Breakfast - 2 eggs, hearty helping of bacon, and biscuit. Service was iffy and ambience lacking, but food was decent and good in a pinch.

Would not recommend going here unless it's a last resort, service was extremely unsatisfactory and the food was made carelessly. There were only three servers in a restaurant full of people, it took twenty minutes for twenty appetizers to come out and it took almost an hour for the entrees. When the food finally came out, it was some of the worst I ever had in my life. The appetizers were soaked in vinegar, you couldn't taste anything else, and the entrees were drowned in oil and cream sauces. My dish turned out to be macaroni noodles and canned sauce, and they substituted my food without informing me and tried to cover it up. However, they compensated for the missing parts of my dinner, but overall the experience was quite dissatisfying.

We thoroughly enjoyed the food at the Avenue, the ossobuco and meatballs were both delicious! Would strongly recommend. The rooftop bar (separate but part of same hotel) had neat views but was cold. Will be a great place to visit in warmer

The best salmon I've ever eaten. Staff was super kind and accommodating. I will definitely have to go back for more if that salmon.

Went here about 10am for Brunch New Year’s Eve, table of 2. I was looking for somewhere that had Shrimp and grits and could nail it and they definitely did. My love got the Birria Chilaquilles it was an amazing flavor for everything in one bite. We also had one cocktail each. They are seasonal. The waitress we had was very enthusiastic and tentative. Definitely will be back

The menu selection at the Avenue could be improved. The evening menu is very very limited for things they already have on the brunch menu- example fried chicken and grilled cheese sandwiches. If they could incorporate more of the brunch menu at dinner that would make a huge difference. The service was great though and it has a good hotel bar atmosphere.

Staff wasn't friendly, lacked insight on the menu, and service was slow. Took 20 minutes for the appetizer alone, which came out with the main entree. Choose this restaurant due to the "upscale" setting they were attempting to pull off. Ambience was modern and quaint, but they fall short in every other aspect. Food was mediocre at best. Steak frites were over cooked and lacked a wow factor with flavor. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. For close to $50 dollars a person, you can find way better options that will actually provide an upscale experience.

Used to be a great place but it's been underwhelming the last few times. I normally don't say anything negative but watching someone scoop ice with your water glass is a big No

My wife and I came here for Thanksgiving dinner and we were very disappointed. We had made reservations for 4:30pm in anticipation for a delicious turkey dinner. However when we arrived it turned out that they didn’t have any turkey available on Thanksgiving! We were forced to have to choose a different option for dinner. Unfortunately the only 2 remaining options were prime rib or ham, and we chose ham. The service was exceptionally slow which was surprising given the limited menu and large amount of staff compared to guests. Once the ham finally arrived at the table it appeared to be a huge hunk of fat. The sides looked as if they were plopped out of a can and thrown into a microwave seconds before they brought them out. The pumpkin pie they had for dessert had the smallest dollop of whipped cream and was also very dry. The entire meal was a large disappointment. To top it all off they had MANDATORY GRATUITY OF 20% on the bill. The service wasn’t worth 5% and the food definitely wasn’t worth the $95 for 2 it cost us. This restaurant The Avenue should be ashamed of the Thanksgiving dinner service they provided.

Amazing brunch place featuring carafes of mimosas with your choice of 3 juices. I was blown away by the chicken biscuit flight. My friend adored her shrimp & grits. Totally recommend.

We came for breakfast and the atmosphere was quiet. We enjoyed the peaceful start to the day watching people walk down the street. I had the avocado toast (it was by far the best I have ever had!) my husband had a classic breakfast. It was a ton of food and came with what looked like house made jam. Very delicious. Service was quick and kind. I did note that the menu has changed (since some of the photos on here were posted) slightly higher prices (maybe a $1 here or there) but there are more options now! A wonderful place to grab breakfast for sure!
