When I come to visit family in hot springs, after trying several spots, by far big chill is the best one!! Service was great!! Pizza was very good, ben the bartender had everything to me b4 I knew I needed it. Karaoke was so fun. No smoking inside. Loved it. Good place, highly recommend.
Vegetarian options: Great veggie pizza. Would go back for it.

The guy checking IDs acted like my friend and I were trying to fool him with our out of state licenses. We’re both mid 30s (and look it) and visiting town over a holiday. He was so rude and made me feel very unwelcome. I was recommended this bar to visit while in town and am disappointed how bad an experience it was.

If you are a bartender, you can't just put other people's orders on a customer's tab without asking just because they were socializing. You ASK first. The sad thing is, the bartender at Big Chill did this to me last night because I had always tipped her well and she assumed I had the money and had gotten way too comfortable with me. She also knew that I had a soft spot for people who are broke, because I have (stupidly) shown her this side of me in the past. This person had ordered a whole bucket by themselves. I don't have that kind of money to just give away. Then when I corrected her and said I never offered to pay this person's tab, she refused to fix it, made a huge deal about it painting me as the bad guy, and then ran my card with the full amount anyway, as evidenced by my bank statement the next day. Anyway I won't be back.
A really chill place with the locals hanging out and the atmosphere just being very relaxed and overall nice people, welcoming to tourists as well, only had positive interactions here but was saddened the band wasn't live when we showed up, maybe next time!! Great drinks too! ?

So, my husband and I have been there about 5 times in the past month. It's definitely become our favorite place. The food is so good! I get the vegetarian pizza. So good. My husband love the the Big Chill Chilli with brisket. He loved it. The atmosphere is pretty great. They got several. If you're looking for somewhere quiet and private, got you covered. If you want dance party with all the best hiphop type of vibe, they got you covered. If you're looking for all the best of rock and country, got you covered. The staff has been amazing. They are so nice and welcoming. Just really down to earth people. But we're nice to them and don't cause any trouble. They probably wouldn't be so nice if we were causing problems and being disrespectful. But who would? My only reservations are that there isn't a place to watch the game or play billiards. If they had a pool table and played the game on the big screen, I'd never have a reason to go anywhere else.
