Virgie’s Place Reviews
Had the Patty melt today. it was awesome. it was caramelized onions and swiss cheese and nothing else. It was Heaven. I really want to try the Dirty South Burger. it sounds so interesting.
Some of the best food I've tasted with phenomenal service and great prices. This hole in the wall old convenience store turned restaurant is worth the drive and stop in to eat. Everything cooked to order and taste great. The cheese curds are homemade and the best I've had anywhere. I personally suggest trying out the Radical Rooster. We did not get the chance to try their breakfast, but if their lunch/dinner menu is any indication, I would believe their breakfast knocks it out...read full review
Love going there. Hometown cooking as it should be! They also have a plate special. Definitely worth the stop. Almost forgot. Prices are very reasonable.

Virgie’s Place is a small, excellent restaurant in Texas known for its friendly people and great service. This hole-in-the-wall diner offers a variety of delicious meals like the western omelette, cheeseburger, chicken fried chicken, and fried catfish on Fridays. The hamburgers stand out, featuring huge, moist patties that require plenty of napkins. Their sweet potato fries and funnel cake fries are a must-try as well. The staff, particularly Leslie, is very welcoming and attentive, making sure drinks don’t run empty. Customers have praised the homemade and fresh breakfast, noting that the food is some of the best home cooking found on the road. Everything is cooked to order and tastes great, with highlights including homemade cheese curds and the Radical Rooster. It’s a must-try spot for anyone passing by, and visitors often look forward to returning.
