The Fried Pie Shop (Burgers, Pies, & Fries)

The food was definitely good but the service?? We waited about 7-10 minutes at the window in the drive thru without anyone saying anything, and then the girl finally comes out holding my drink and literally said “ain’t handing you anything until you pay”. I understand they are worried about people driving off but 1) I’m not from here. I was waiting for her to hold out a debit machine or something. Not to just take the phone if we’re paying with Apple Pay so I clearly didn’t know 2) we wanted to help grab it so she wasn’t just standing there waiting on us to get our Apple Pay ready. She did seem very nice after but we did not like that comment 🤷🏼‍♀️

Hey the people are doing the best they can. It's just a really really low-end place. The food is average and the pies are good!

These fried pies are next level. The cinnamon roll one delivers!

The burgers were above average; not the best, but definitely good. The fried pies though, they are worth the cost of the entire meal.

The Original Fried Pie Shop in Arkansas truly lives up to its name as the home of authentic, homemade fried pies with a tradition going back over 100 years. We loved the old-school burger joint atmosphere and the fact that everything is made fresh to order.
We ordered the burgers and fried pies, and both were excellent. The burgers were juicy and flavorful (they even grind their own brisket in-house daily), and the hand-cut fries were perfectly seasoned. But the real stars were the fried pies — light, flaky, golden crusts filled with delicious homemade fillings, just like grandma used to make. They were warm, generous in size (8-10 ounces!), and absolutely delightful.
This is a fantastic spot for a quick, satisfying meal with a real taste of Arkansas history and hospitality. Highly recommend stopping by whether you’re craving a great burger or their world-famous fried pies. We’ll definitely be back!

It's hard to develop a good following these days. An food service is the hardest. I always looked forward to a trip to Burgers an fried pies in Jacksonville. They never let me down until today. I ordered a 1/4 cheese burger plate, With everything on the burger, with an apple pie, an NO JALAPENOS. When my meal arrived the burger had about 12 JALAPENOS on it, 3 little onions, 2 pickles, the butter end of tomato, and no cheese. I paid over $20 for something I couldn't eat. Trust is hard to build but it's gone very fast an my trust in this place is gone. The only place left is the Dairy Bar in Lonoke.

Enjoyed the quarter pounder cheeseburger with fries. For dessert, I split the peaches and cream fried pie with my husband. Everything was delicious and hot. The fried pies are made to order and ver tasty. Wish I had more room so we could try other flavors. Too bad we live in Texas or maybe that’s a good thing. LOL Thank you.

Nice place to eat in, relaxed and you can see pie mixes from the front. Burger is amazing, though they were out of sweet tea. Pies are tasty, fairly priced for the size.

My problem they don't understand new season on my fries and they still put season on my fries I told him not to proceed on my fries they still put season on my fries they don't be comprehended understanding what I be saying whoever reads this please be quiet so they put a lot of season on your stuff if you got high blood pressure or anything be careful

FYI TO EVERYONE IN JACKSONVILLE YALL BETTER STOP EATING AT THIS NASTY ESTABLISHMENT , THE PEOPLE MAY SEEM NICE AND FRIENDLY BUT THEY GOT SOME LITTLE FRIENDS BACK THERE IN THAT KITCHEN THAT YALL FOOD IS COMING OUT OF SO JUST REMEMBER WHEN YOU WANT A PIES , BURGER , SHAKE OR SOME FRIES I WON'T GO THERE TO GET IT CAUSE OF THOSE LITTLE FRIENDS CRAWLING AROUND BACK THERE WITH ALL YOUR FOOD . We loved it!! Didn’t take long for our food. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Food was wonderful. Will definitely go back and highly recommend others to come here.
