The food was okay—not the best I’ve had, but definitely not the worst either. What really stood out was the service. The lady who took our order was very friendly and attentive, which made the experience much better. One plate pictured is ribs and pork and the other is ribs and what is supposed to be brisket.

I decided to go to Demo's BBQ for my celebratory graduation lunch. I had just graduated from A-State and was really craving BBQ, and I had never tried Demo's before, so I figured, now's the time for new things, so I took my family there. They had plenty of seating for 11 of us which was nice, considering that it would've been difficult at other restaurants. I ordered their rib plate with fries and coleslaw and it came with a slice of bread. The food was just as good as you would expect any BBQ restaurant to be, but it wasn't anything too memorable. The fries were pretty delicious, the ribs were tender enough to fall of the bone, the cole slaw was a little too sweet for my liking, and the bread was just regular old sandwich bread. Overall, a good meal if you're just looking for comfort BBQ.

Very disappointing experience. The pork BBQ had never been exposed to smoke and was tastless, tough and stringy. I've eaten BBQ in AR, TN, TX, MO and KS and this was the worse excuse for smoked BBQ pork I've ever encountered.

I went to Demo's Barbecue and Smokehouse on 4/11/2025 to have lunch with my woman. In fact this is my 2nd visit. The food was seasoned, hot, and tasty. The employees were very friendly and courteous. Very quiet restaurant. And you get plenty enough to eat. I recommend this restaurant to anyone in Northeast Arkansas to visit this restaurant located on 4115 E. Johnson in Jonesboro Ar. The prices are within your budget. And they have a large menu. Try Demo's. You'll like it if you want some real BBQ!

I ate at 11:30 today. Beans should not look and taste like it was from the bottom of the barrell. Bread was tough. Fries over cooked and did not seem fresh. Skin on half chicken was very dry, but inside tasted good. The last time I ate here my beans were the same way, but my daughters were good and fresh. Demos used to be my favorite. It had been a little over a year since I ate there
I was really looking forward to eating there and it was my birthday. Due to my last experience, it took me a long time to come back only to be more disappointed.

Restaurantji Recommends
Husband ordered BBQ Fries to go. We live 30 minutes away. When he brought it in, we were surprised to find nachos instead of fries. Soggy fries i can deal with because it's potatoes. Soggy chips just ruined a meal I didn't ask for in the first place. Get the kitchen line cooks in order to double-check to-go orders before they just start making things. Accidents happen, but if you're in the restaurant you can fix it. If you're 30 miles away, not so much.

Went here a little reserved as only a few vehicles were in the parking lot. The place was clean and very well decorated for a bbq or smoke house. The menu had lots of options from several meats, some sides, desserts, and much more. After ordering the meal was arranged fast and looked great. I ordered the 6 bone rib dinner with potato salad, beans, and i added coleslaw. The beans and potato salad stood out and were awesome. The coleslaw was average. As far as the ribs they were great, juicy, fall off the bone, smoked ringed, the works!!! The ribs I’d rate a 9.0. Great place to go for sure I will be back.

First and last time . Questions about menu were not answered. The food was very dry and blan. No hint of being in a smoker at all. Way over priced and a true disappointment.
