I've been in there 3 times and I've gotten the BBQ Beef Brisket sandwich with slaw, each time. By far the best BBQ this side of the Mighty Mississippi. The cashiers lovely demeanor made lunch that much more enjoyable . My seat for lunch each time I visit JTown now is a given. It will be with the BBQ. I really need to start ordering more of everything though.
Good but frustrating when they're not open during "open" store hours. It's Thursday at 8:15pm and the doors are locked. No note on the door to say sold out or closed early. There are a couple vehicles in the lot and I can see a couple at a table. Update your hours or at least post a note on the door, please.
Best BBQ in NEA, hands down. Moist, tender meats, delicious baked beans, slaw, and potato salad. And you can't beat the fried pies or friendly service. Every time I go back home I have to stop in, because the vinegar style North Carolina bbq sucks (just saying), and I crave good bbq from back home.
