The worst place ever!!!!! They ran out of food. One of our party didn't even get food at all. What we did get was good. I do not recommend a steak house that runs out of steaks!!!!! They ran out of baked potatoes, mushrooms, steaks, chili, spaghetti, gumbo.I give the staff a thumbs up!!!! Doe's would be a great place for a steakhouse!! Needs a new owner
This was not my favorite visit to Doe’s, but overall I love this place.
Steak and cheese melted in my mouth
Went to Doe's for the first time expecting to be wowed by the " best tamales ever", and the perfect steak. They were out of tamales, we got a lame excuse as to why, and I have had better steak from Waffle House. Ordered the 20 ounce Cowboy ribeye, medium, which consisted of a 10 ounce bone, and 3 to 4 ounces of terribly charred fat and the edible meat done somewhere between rare and medium rare. Had to saw my way through the meat part. Also ordered a side of Asparagus, whic
Me and my husband shared the porterhouse steak. It was so tender and very tasty. Our waiter Logan was fabulous at his job.
Best steak in town!!! Bang Bang Shrimp is better than what you get on the coast!! Service was great! My favorite place to eat in Jonesboro!!!
Food was ok at best. They stop serving burgers at 430 and have a very small selection of food choices. I’m sure the stakes are better but the fish and chicken were not worth the trip. Eating somewhere else next time!
We ate at Doe’s for the first and last time tonight. We were SORELY disappointed with our food. My fish was cold and soggy and hush puppies were raw in the middle. My husband’s chicken was dry and bland. We will not be suggesting Doe’s to anyone.
Great spot for downtown Jonesboro vibe and a savory food menu.
Boiled shrimp is a must. Sirloin is ok, but the filet is fantastic.
Restaurantji Recommends
Our first trip was last year on Valentines Day (2019), we plan on spending this year there as well. The steaks were fabulous! The atmosphere is perfect! and the service was top notch. I highly recommend anyone giving it a try. Oh- and we had live music, that was a wonderful plus.
nauseously excessive onion in side salad , zuchini - salty enough to be pickled, *marbled ribeye = fatty - meh
Ate at Doe’s for the very first time and was not impressed. My husband ordered a cup of gumbo and the rice was crunchy it was so undercooked. The waiter said he would take it off the bill, but he didn’t. Their famous tamales are not that great— the masa was good but the filing was bland. We ordered the 2lb porterhouse to share, and it was tender, but we ordered it medium and it was medium rare. Overall it was just a “meh” experience. I just don’t understand why everyone thinks it’s so great.
Saturday night: The restaurant is dead. The bar is full, yet nobody seems to be ordering steaks.
My four year daughter loved the ribeye. She woke up and requested it for breakfast. Great food and great service.
