Went in for lunch, ordered the Pollo Mexicano. Lunch break ended, I had to go back to work, still no food. Its not that busy, only 4 other tables. All of which were here before me.

Only place in Jonesboro my husband could find a breakfast chorizo burrito. The food is good, but there is no consistency. So if you like something one day, you'll have a hard time getting that again. Also after ordering the same thing 5 times..we were charged different prices each time. Hopefully they can find some consistency with their menu/pricing.

I showed up a half hour before closing because I got off work late, AND I WAS TREATED LIKE GOLD! Staff was kind and inviting, the whole place was clean, and the food was AMAZING. Half way through my meal, I ordered a second meal for lunch tomorrow at work. My initial order was 3 tamales, rice and beans. I also love the lil carafe of salsa because it's easier to pour onto my chips. Warning: there was a bit of a language barrier, but I wouldn't expect genuine Mexican food if all the staff talked like Cracker Barrel waitstaff.

I'm giving 4 stars because food is usually great, but I have had lower food quality (dry and slightly cold) outside of peak hours. Servers are always kind and generally provide adequate to great service.

The food is awesome, the jalapeí±o cheese dip is incredibly tasty, peppy Mexican music, blaring a little too loud but festive atmosphere. But mostly the food is screaming good. A real hidden gem.
