Hated my experience, if I ever return I hope it’s because im attending a wake dinner.
Running errands, will ALWAYS suck, hate it, and often, finding a place to eat, late, after you’re exhausted is taunting, I want my pot to be transparent and open, I want to also take accountability, the establishment Rice Box, Hibachi and Poke Bowl, allowed us inside, verbally making me aware, they close soon, (which was posted on the door) so I’m not arguing I was unaware, yes, I know, so a quick to go order to dine outside, was always my intention, and if I needed to, I would have helped clean the kitchen, because the staff was under no obligation to clean up after us, yes, we arrived at 912, and yes we placed our food order, understanding we would be leaving soon. While taking our order, I DID REQUEST OUR MEAT AND VEGGIES, be placed separately, in a separated container. Why? I eat veggies, and he does not, nor does he want his veggies in this meat. At the time the order was placed, I was more than okay with the arrangement, I was assured “yes, they are put in boxes that will keep them separate” perfect!!!!!! Again, I offered to help clean up, I know these people wanna go home! Everyone laughed, and it was a beautiful moment (or so I thought) the soup and salad came, with to go utensils, of I already had my chop sticks because, I love embracing culture. Keep your throw away fork, I got it. Our server asked if he could bring out the check to “move it along” ABSOLUTELY! it’s getting late you wanna go home. Sure please do! The check was given, and there were two, I had no idea asking about the two checks would cause our server to become angry with us, or I would not have asked, I simply would have paid both bills and dismissed ourself outside to eat, as I got to the door, I thought crap! Drinks! I sat food down for the boys, and walked back in to ask for to go drinks. When I walked in, the servers were sitting at the register talking about me, negatively, I didn’t pay the original ticket, but I do know written on it was something along the lines of”felt rushed” that had nothing to do with me, personally, we understood the place the closing, but, our server further with on, to mock me “YEAH SHE WANTED EVERYTHING IN DIFFERENT BOWLS, so nothing touched, like it’s almost closing time. Why would we” THIS MOMENT is when I began to cry, I apologized profusely, I’m sorry, sorry I don’t eat meat, sorry he doesn’t eat veggies. Sorry. I apologized several times, I’m sorry we ordered it this way, and we were such terrible patrons, can I please have to go drinks so we can go eat?” The woman who got my to go drinks, had a warm smile, and assured me “it’s okay” but it’s not. I know it was late! I know you want to go home. That’s why I offered to clean up our mess? My simple ask of please don’t touch our veggies and meat. He hates veggies. I hate meat. I did not realize I ruined your night and your fine establishment by being vegetarian. I did leave crying. I’m still hurt. My self persevering spirit wanted to leave a mess outside on the table, but I could not. I cleaned up after myself, and cried. I’m not asking for an apology. You can’t right your wrong. Of mocking me, of talking about me like I ruined your whole life by being just a few minutes after 9. But I assure you, it was my mistake and will never happen again. Have the business you deserve. And I pray the tips you receive, are nothing but bountiful.

I used to really enjoy ricebox but I feel like over time the quality has definitely deteriorated. I still enjoy the food but I got the pokeamazing bowl and in the past they weren't stingy with the toppings, but this time I was extremely disappointed. For how much I paid for this it's simply not worth it! Barely any salmon or tuna

Stopped in on our way through town and was amazed at how good everything was! The steamed gyoza was awesome. Seriously… I’m kinda a gyoza snob lol. Enough filling, just the right amount of chew in the outer wrap, and cooked perfectly! The eel in the poke bowls was literally the BEST eel I’ve had in the USA, probably ever. Most times, it’s an over cooked, rubbery mess. Eel is supposed to be buttery smooth and melt in your mouth. Rice Box NAILED IT! I was blown away by how beautifully it was done. If I lived local, I’d eat here every day!
