Me and the wife went a few weeks ago. We had the buffet and a bucket of crab legs. Everything was very good. I've got to brag they have the toughest plastic forks We have ever seen. She split open about 3/4 of pound of crab legs before the first fork broke.

I ate there today, Feb 9th and my catfish was extremely over cooked, the okra was over cooked and the fries were under cooked and cold. The best part of my meal was the beans. Very disappointed today.

I don’t live in Jonesboro, but my grandmother does. Every time I visit her over the holidays we make sure to stop at Ron’s for some delicious catfish. We have been coming here for 20 years and it has always been some of the best catfish we have had anywhere. The locals sometimes grumble that things have changed, but to us the catfish hasn’t changed much. It’s still great. I do remember that they used to have soft serve ice cream and that is gone in favor of some pre-made cups, and I didn’t see the Cajun fish variety they used to have. But these are quibbles. If you are anywhere near Jonesboro, this is worth a detour to check this place out. They are only open Thurs-Saturday
