My husband and I get do-nuts here almost every Saturday and Sunday for our kids. Shipley's is our go to for do-nuts not only because we live so close but the overall experience is always great.

So this morning, I decided to go get myself a couple blueberry cake doughnuts. Go inside right behind an arriving employee. She clocks in on the computer, messes with her hair and hat…. Then was going to get myself doughnuts without ever washing her hands!! First rule of food service? ALWAYS wash your hands…. When you come in, when you change task, when you have touched money or a computer screen, whenever you use the bathroom, ANY time your hands have been soiled. I work in food service. I wash my hands countless times per day. This was blatantly against Steritech standards. Is unfortunate, because they do have very nice doughnuts, but not worth the risk of contamination or contagion.

The employees were very nice and welcoming! My main complaint and why there is a 3 star rating is because i asked for an assorted dozen donuts and received the worst possible assorted flavors. You’d think they’d give you a mix of every thing, nothing being the same. Not sure what happened!

They have to be awesome donuts because the butter rolls were sold out before 9 a.m. I had a cinnamon roll and it was delicious.
