Ordered steak and chicken. Got steak and shrimp. If you have an allergy to shellfish avoid them. Hate to see someone die beacuse they don't know the difference.

This place was pretty good overall. The rice wasn’t amazing, but I did enjoy the vegetables and the shrimp hibachi was tasty. The staff was nice, and the sushi was solid too. Not the best I’ve ever had, but still a decent spot.

Sumo's is a good hibachi restaurant, probably the better out of the two here in Jonesboro, but I wouldn't go as far as to say it is the best hibachi you are going to have here in Arkansas. It was just an average hibachi experience. I wish the fried rice was seasoned more, but it was still pretty good. My steak was cooked perfectly, and they accommodated my boyfriend who has a shellfish allergy. Overall, just 4 stars. Nothing memorable, but will get the job done if you're craving hibachi.

I was here on 11/26. Was in the area. Stopped for dinner. Food was excellent. Service was excellent. Maybe it's just me being from the West Coast but they had fountain Mello Yello so that was a plus. The Jonesboro roll was definitely fire. If I'm in Jonesboro again, I will definitely stop by! Thanks!

Edit: returned on 7/20. Food was just as good as it was back in November. Definitely will continue to return every time I'm in the area. Thanks again!

Never got a refill. Ordered the filet and scallops. Steak was way overdone. Both steaks and scallops were bitter from cooking on a grill that wasn't cleaned right. Rice was mushy and nothing close to fried rice. I won't be back!

It was like 80 degrees in restaurant. The food had way too much yum yum sauce poured on the rice. Not good we won't be back

The waiter did fine, but the food was bad the rice had way too much sauce poured on it. The restaurant was literally like 80+ degrees. Not a good experience. We were pushed back to the grill area and told it would be a long wait for a regular table that was a lie the next few groups got tables in the front where it was not hotter than the gates of hell. We tipped our waitress because we felt bad for her. We won’t be back.

Sumo always has friendly workers and fast service despite how busy they stay. The sushi is always delicious, we ordered the sampler appetizer which was the perfect amount of food before the sushi rolls came out. I think Sumo is the best Japanese restaurant in Jonesboro.

It's a fun restaurant in Jonesboro. A little pricey, but they give u lots of rice. The sushi bar is on point though! Definitely recommend if ur in the area. Very family friendly!
