This place was pretty good overall. The rice wasn’t amazing, but I did enjoy the vegetables and the shrimp hibachi was tasty. The staff was nice, and the sushi was solid too. Not the best I’ve ever had, but still a decent spot.
Sumo's is a good hibachi restaurant, probably the better out of the two here in Jonesboro, but I wouldn't go as far as to say it is the best hibachi you are going to have here in Arkansas. It was just an average hibachi experience. I wish the fried rice was seasoned more, but it was still pretty good. I was here on 11/26. Was in the area. Stopped for dinner. Food was excellent. Service was excellent. Maybe it's just me being from the West Coast but they had fountain Mello Yello so that was a plus. The Jonesboro roll was definitely fire. If I'm in Jonesboro again, I will definitely stop by! Thanks!
