My wife and I thoroughly enjoy the Sunday home-cooked meals. Delicious comfort food with large portions and desserts are amazing. Friendly staff at the diner. Definitely recommend this diner! Go give them a visit.
The best food and service in lake village!!
Very delicious and seasoned very well food with a family atmosphere!! They have a really good salad bar and are open for breakfast!!

Mamas Village Diner is a spacious diner with great courteous service and a big breakfast menu. The staff is friendly, and the room is wide open with eclectic seating, tables of different styles and heights, and lots of available seating. The place is overall clean, with a clean restroom, and cash money and credit cards are accepted.
Sunday home-cooked meals are thoroughly enjoyed, with delicious comfort food and large portions, and desserts are amazing. The lunch special is a ludicrous amount of delicious food, including chicken fried steak, cornbread, twice baked potato, cucumber and tomato salad, and heath bar cake. Omelets are great, and eggs are actually over easy. The fish plate is very good, with decent catfish.
However, some experiences were mixed. One visit had a bacon cheeseburger that was decent but light on bacon, chicken strips served raw and returned, a greasy omelette, cold waffle fries, and average Cajun fries. The food has decent flavor, plated from a steam table, and the ambiance has potential, though knives were missing and the server was overwhelmed. Bigger signage out front is needed to catch people not from the area.
