“I have been getting loaded teas and protein coffees here for over a year and they are always awesome. I recommend Lady L, Malibu Barbie, and the Vanilla crème iced coffee! Their Detox gallons are amazing for a good gut restart, I prefer the mango, and they are priced extremely well. Their Reece’s protein balls are SO yummy. I like to get a few of them to take home to put in the fridge for a good late night snack option. Today I tried the berry protein waffle with SF syrup and I don’t know why I waited so long it was phenomenal. Not to mention the staff is always so friendly, the environment is clean and comfortable, you can call ahead and they offer delivery! I should have left a review months ago. 12/10 recommend for sweet treats, yummy/healthy snack and food options, quiet place to do office work if needed during school hours, and even great tanning beds for a great monthly price.”

“Portion size is huge. I ordered the regular cheeseburger combo add bacon and sub onion rings and a order of fried okra. First, the burger was delicious and pretty big. Second, the onion rings were so good and huge. I thought the okra would be a smaller portion, but boy, was I wrong. Needless to say, I have at least 2 meals. I barely made it through the burger. Thai Chicken Bowl operates in an old gas station in Charleston, AR. It is a bare bones mom and pop operation. The restaurant is barren of décor and a vacuum of ambiance. Order at the counter. The food is delivered to your table. Minimal, but adequate service.

For some reason, I don’t know why I ordered the stinky beef Larb. I just don’t know why. Too late now. I liked this Laotian version even with the smelly overtones of fish sauce. Am I hooked on Larb, or is it self-mortification? Neither, I think I have accepted the challenge to master my phobia of fish sauce. And frankly I have found that good Larb is well ….pretty good. The description on the menu “Spicy Beef” sucked me in. The meal was filled with thin sliced steak, noodles some type of greens, seasoned with chili pepper and a vinegary sauce. Not too bad. My wife had the Coconut Fried Rice with Chicken. A big plate of food, but not outstanding taste. The Egg Drop soup was fair. It could have been a little hotter (temp).

The restaurant has a big varied menu. Chicken Fried Rice seems to be the restaurant’s signature dish. Charleston is a small town. I’m thinking the locals appreciate having an Asian food option.”

“Does NOT recommend! Food was okay. We arrived at 7:49 and a family of 3 was ordering ahead of us. Initially our service was okay. Waiter took our order and in about 15 minutes, He brought out food and was nice. We decided to get a few of their limited fried pies, I went to the window to order and the waitress (I’m going to name her Karen) said we are actually closed. My response was Me: Oh, I’m sorry I didn’t know. “Karen” then said in a snotty tone. “it’s right on the door”. Rude much? Me: I guess I missed it. My sister: That was just rude. Karen: What? My sister: That was rude! Me: telling my daughter to get her stuff we are leaving. Karen: It’s fine take your time. Me: No ma’am, we are leaving.”
