“Valentine's Day dinner, saw them, and figured we would give them a try. Being in an 18-wheeler, it was nice to find somewhere different that we could get out, stretch, and have a nice fresh home cooked style meal. Doesn't look like much but wow was it well worth every bit. Excellent food, great atmosphere, friendly and helpful waitresses. Located inside the Phillips 66. Would definitely stop by again. Very reasonable prices, and large portions.”
“This place was just a spot to grab a bite and watch the rest of the Super Bowl after a long day on the road. It turned out to be a big winner! I had the "Chori-Pollo," which was very thin chicken breast filets covered with chorizo, with a creamy sauce. It was delicious! Very friendly and helpful staff. Recommended.”
“The seating is always a problem.... really almost makes us choose somewhere else to eat. Long tabled but people struggle to get through the very narrow, very narrow walk area to get back to the buffet to get more food. Not comfortable at all. We try and go after the lunch time.Wheelchair accessibility: Very tight inside for a wheelchair unless you went a slower time of day.”
“Omgosh we dinned here during spring break. I tried the Etoufee w/ Catfish and some Alligator Amazingly delicious! This spot was warm inviting, with a friendly staff. If ya’ll have a taste of Cajun and have never been this place will not disappoint. –”
“Had to make a trip to Alma this morning after church and stopped in for breakfast. The food was delicious. Well prepared and seasoned perfectly. The service was great. Every member of the staff was friendly, courteous and attentive. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast and will definitely be coming back to try other menu items! Good job!!!”
“Thank you for a hot, delicious meal! We decided to take break from camp meals because it smelled SO good from the parking lot! Super fresh, great value, cozy spot, nice people…wish we lived here so we could be regulars. We will stop in again any time our travels bring us this way!”
“Last time we'd been here prior to this visit, the experience was horrible BUT they have a new owner so we came in to give them a try. The buffet is the way to go! The lasagna was so cheesy and good! They have a lot of pizza options, but none of us were huge fans of the crust, but the extras for the buffet make this perfect for even the pickiest eaters. They have lots of options for salads. The spaghetti is good and they have meatballs you can add if interested. The cookie dough pizza is also really good. The waitstaff were friendly and attentive. The dining areas were clean but are kind of dated, and the tables are all super short compared to the length of the booth, which made them somewhat uncomfortable.”
“The best deal ever is the two salad bars...two drinks and any large pizza for $24.99.....Vegetarian options: Plenty of non meat items on the salad bar....or....design your own pizza....lots of choices for toppings.”
“We love Cracker Barrel! This was the first time we have ordered “take out” from here and when I tell you it was the best and freshest to-go food I’ve ever had, I’m not lying. It was almost better than a few times I’ve been in to dine in. I was hesitant ordering it to-go but our children were not in the best of moods for dining in! Excellent food and quality. Got everything we asked for and the extra utensils and sauce ect. Thank you Cracker Barrel in Alma! Wonderful experience!!! We will be doing this again soon.”
“There was a young man working today and he is also the person that I had contact. When I walked in he was finishing a transaction and preparing for his next customer, me. Once he noticed I was walking to the Subway side he immediately acknowledged me by saying that he would be right with me. He was efficient, pleasant and someone who offered me guidance with my order. I didn’t get his name but he was a young man with darker hair and potentially of Hispanic descent. Too often we take the time to say when things go wrong but don’t even notice when things go right. Well this young guy can have my word that if he desires, he can accomplish anything! Thanks for the best subway lunch yet!!!”
“I ordered a bacon toaster sandwich, and I was in a hurry, and when I left to start eating it. It was a sausage sandwich. The day before, my sweet tea didn't taste very sweet.”
“They were very busy. The soft serve machine was out of order and customers were unhappy. My Big Mac was very good.Parking: I parked on the south side and had to cross a lane of traffic and the drive-thru to get inside.”
“The food was hot and fresh- that what earned the stars. The fries were crisp and hot.I ordered mobile and ran inside to use the restroom ( which was clean) and asked for my order inside. It was a long process - I should have went back outside and picked it up. It was a long wait- but my meal was delicious. The bun was so soft and tomato and lettuce fresh. The service lacked total friendliness. Hopefully it was just a bad day Because the food was worth the stop.”
“Food was hot and fresh...had to wait about 10 min for fresh chicken...service was great they gave me a free pepsi for the wait...they got the sides wrong. It was good though.”
“We love El Trio. The food is fantastic. Our favorites are the street tacos and the poblano pepper.Kid-friendliness: El Trio is very kid friendly. The staff are very kind to younger guests and encourage them to interact in Spanish.”
