I'm new to Lavaca. This is the 1st time trying this restaurant tonight. Wife and daughter as well. It has that country mom and pop feel I really like. I had the over easy burger, kinda like an eggonater from The Garage, but this was actually better. I didn't get the server's name, but she was an absolute gem! This place is going to be dangerous for me since I'm retired and only live a couple blocks away. Well, everything in Lavaca is only a couple blocks away. The prices are old fashioned too.

My son worked here for a little while he was 16 and she took advantage of him. She would not pay him right and she even took his tips out of his check and told him that he was not allowed to take high tips that was specifically given to him. She owes him so much money. It is just sad that a grown woman would take advantage of a teen and there very first job. She should be ashamed of herself. Will never eat at this place again

Wheelchair accessibility: Sadly they do not have wheelchair wraps, but if you can get there early, park on the north end so you can get right up on the sidewalk. It's not the cafes faulty the property owner just don't seem to cage about
