What a place! The food, atmosphere and service was just wonderful. I had the special, which was a New York strip (medium rare of course), green beans with red onions, and mashed potatoes. My wife had the Basil Parmesan sandwich. I had a bite, and it was very tasty! Finished off my steak with a classic Mule. Very good. A very lovely place.
Also, I'm not sure if reservations are necessary. We may have showed up at the right time. The place was full, but we were seated right away.

So good!!! My 5 year old absolutely loved it and asked if we could come back everyday. We loved the blueberry crumble pie too š
Iāve been coming to Skylarks for about 10 years, and every visit has been a great experience. The food and pastries are consistently excellent, and the use of fresh ingredients really shows in the flavor and quality.
The only issue I encountered was during my most recent visit, when I was told that onions couldnāt be removed from my sandwich because substitutions supposedly slow the kitchen down. This had never been an issue for me in the past, and I found it a bit confusing since removing an ingredient seems like it would require less work, not more. I also felt the response came across as a little rude.
Aside from that one experience, I have nothing negative to say and have always enjoyed Skylarks.

Beautiful little place with top notch food. The owners and staff have great attention to detail and hospitality.
The menu has creative fare and all the best American comforts. Truly something for everyone here.
Eating here feels more like an event or experience, not just a meal!
They also have a unique gift shop on site.
If you are in the area, this is definitely the place to stop!

Came in hungry
We had been in the woods hunting. It took a hour to get our food. Excellent food but took way to long. We had a 4 year old hungry. Pork nachos are bomb
I had the basil Parmesan chicken sandwich, cucumber salad, and buttermilk blueberry pie. Every element of the meal was amazing, and fantastic service as well. They also let us sit outside with our dog, which is always a nice treat for him to be able to join us! Highly recommend

I just love this place. The food is amazing. The people are amazing. The location is amazing. Donāt skip the torta ahogada or the Cuban sandwich. My only complaint-the donāt have oatmeal cream pies every single day š
Restaurantji Recommends
What an absolute, unbelievable jewel of a charming and quaint home restaurant! It would be worth the drive just to see the decor (we were sat by a cozy, postcard, brick fireplace to warm ourselves from the chill) but the food is beyond amazing! We had the chicken provolone basil sandwich, brisket tacos, chili and cornbread, blueberry-buttermilk pie. All spectacular!! I honestly cannot remember the last time we had such āauthentically homemadeā food in a restaurant. Each and every ingredient tastes so fresh. We will most definitely be driving out of our way to return!

We obviously looked trump's

I asked nicely to make it a take out box.we finally got our food.$40.00 later.(normally I would have left a $20.00 tip.i left nothing.i always tip.when we left i pulled over within sight of restaurant to eat.the meat in the taco was cold and glazed over.i had one bite
Took it home and gave it to joy my dog.she literally took one bite.look at me like id kicked her and started kicking her ass..
You do the math
There is another restaurant in Leslie. I've heard service and food are great
I'll know where to go next time
Never been so disappointed and offended in my life.
Maybe our last time on the porch for the year. It was beautiful outside! Had the Turkey Panini special for lunch, and Brenda had the Sesame Citrus Salad, her favorite. Service was quick and, as always, friendly.
