We always stop at this place if we are close. They have such good breads and pastries. They make sandwiches too, but I've never tried one yet. They sell craft sodas and candies, too. Great little shop.
Well worth stopping to get excellent bread, and some local insight. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff with a surprising variety of pottery, books and gifts. This is now on my "must stop" list every time I go through the area.

I absolutely love the sourdough croissants and the danishes. We always stop here on our way to buffalo point, it's a must! Just don't stop too late in the day, or you'll be out of luck on their pastry selections. We typically call ahead and place an order so we can bring back a box of danishes or croissants. They have a delicious carrot cake we get every now and then also. It's a very cute tranquil cottage like bakery and perfect for a pit stop.
