The homemade ice cream, especially the white russian flavor, is a hit, and the affogato is also delicious. The restaurant is known for its outstanding food, from appetizers to dessert, with special wild game dishes, seasonal heirloom tomatoes, encrusted ahi tuna, and Walleye in season. The staff is prompt, friendly, and goes out of their way to ensure a great experience; the owner, Peter Brave, often visits tables to check on guests. Despite being a little pricey, customers feel they receive top-shelf quality and service. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible with an elevator for easy access, though parking is limited in front. It is highly recommended for a nice evening out or a date night, especially for those seeking a unique dining experience overlooking the Arkansas River.
