Capers Restaurant Reviews
Thank you to Kenzie who made our 22nd anniversary a really special and delicious night! Even though they were busy we were well taken care of. Will definitely be back!
Da'Jan is an awesome server and deserves SO much praise for her lovely personality and amazing service! We'll be back and be sure to ask for her by name.
I was so excited to get to enjoy a throwback to Cajun's. The Oysters Bienville has been my favorite food for most of my adult life so I was super stoked to get to have them again. Unfortunately, they were not the same. The shrimp and lobster bisque was great and the chocolate creme brulee was good, but the bacon wrapped shrimp was just ok. The atmosphere was nice and our server was great, but the food was disappointing!
Capers Restaurant offers a nice location with an outdoor deck, although it needs some maintenance, especially outside with neglected planters. The attentive staff, including friendly servers, provide good service and make guests feel welcomed. The food is generally tasty; dishes like the special with snapper, shrimp, asparagus, and risotto are enjoyable, and the lobster bisque is delicious. The restaurant also serves a variety of dishes such as steak and lobster with white cheddar grits and vegetables, and the filet mignon is perfectly cooked with flavorful mashed potatoes. The walleye and pork chop are favorites, and the chocolate crème brûlée is a great dessert choice. The area where guests are seated is quaint and cozy, enhancing the dining experience. Parking is limited but can be found nearby across at a different business. Overall, Capers is a good place for special occasions or more frequent visits, especially since the friendly staff often remember returning guests. The restaurant's ambiance is quiet enough for good conversation, making it a pleasant spot to enjoy a meal.
