Fulfilling. If you're working and you want to eat lunch here...You will need a nap. I had the meatloaf, greens Mac & cheese, mash potatoes and corn bread. I was way too full, but you'll love it.
Food was amazing and very super surprising! I am a big critic when it comes to soul food especially greens! Most of the downtown area does not have good greens but this place had some good greens and they seasoned it so well. And oh my gosh let’s not get started on the tator casserole!! To die for! Great southern food perfect for a brunch outing. Ambiance was loud, but that’s as to be expected for a Sunday. My husband and I are both in the hospitality industry and understand how hectic it can be to work on a busy day. However, as this was our first time coming to dine we would have loved an explanation from our server on the process, instead she said something along the lines of, “go on up”. Would have loved to give it 5 stars, but the service was lacking.
