To the so-called host at Sway tonight (or whoever thought it was cute to grab the mic before the show); you are exactly why I don’t bother showing up for the Arkansas queer community. You think it’s funny to call me out in front of a room of people, accuse me of not “supporting local queer artists,” and then threaten to “beat me up” only to backpedal and say it’s fine because I’m “cute”? That’s not wit, that’s cruelty dressed up as comedy. In short, I live with anxiety that already makes it hard enough to come out and be present. The one night I finally do, you confirm every reason I usually don’t. Instead of creating a space that’s welcoming, you turned the mic into a weapon. So after paying the cover fee, staying only 20 minutes just to be humiliated, I went home. And the fact that you’re competing for a state pageant (that leads to a national) while acting like a mean-spirited high school bully? Embarrassing. Learn the weight of your words. Learn humility. Learn how to actually support a community instead of tearing it down. You were rude, you were reckless, and you reminded me why so many people avoid spaces like this. Congratulations - you’ve guaranteed I won’t be back. Ever. Anybody want her name? I got it. Aubi Gold 💋

Decent bar with stage and events. Music is not great. My only critique is that I came in at 12:30 and asked the door person if they had an event going on tonight. They told me what it was but didn’t tell me it only had TEN minutes left. I thought I’d be there for Atleast an hour so I paid the full cover and the show ended right after 2 performances. I was upset that I spent anything considering I don’t drink and I only came for the show. Terrible communication on their end because they knew it was ending and simply wanted my money. Always ask for the full details before paying cover.

It's a cool place with really nice staff. It's probably not the spot if you're just a gay guy looking to meet other men though. I'm more into rowdy dance floors full of hot guys instead of drag shows and such, but I would still recommend the place to someone looking for an entertaining night.

I asked for a light pour on my drink and it still tasted like straight vodka, also I’m not sure if the AC was out or what but Jesus Christ I don’t think I have ever been more hot in my entire life than I was at club sway and I was just watching a drag show, I can’t imagine trying to dance in there. By the time I left the club I was stone cold sober from sweating out every bit of alcohol in me. Also they didn’t do different start times for general admission and meet & greet so we just had to sit there for about an hour and a half watching them do the meet and greet while we just sat hot and miserable. The performers were amazing and I still had a great time despite the poor facilities but wow they really have some work to do here.

Visited from out of town, one night only - just happened to be a Tammie Brown experience a block from my hotel! 10/10 event, vibe, and space and was thrilled to see a legendary Ru gurl live. C’mon teletubby, teleport us to Mars! 🚀

I have never had a single bad time here at Club Sway. It has been my home club for a small chunk of time now, and I would recommend anyone who likes clubs, or is even just a curious young lgbtq person to come here at least once.Incredibly friendly staff. This building is somebody's pride and joy, and you can tell in every cell of this building's anatomy.(My coworkers tell me this club is VERY old. The ambiance is like stepping into the belly of a beast who’s ventured history)But aside from the vibes, this is a very nice club and great for a “first club” when on a night of fun!Stay for the shows tho! They NEVER flop!

Vegetarian options: vodka, rum, gin, whisky, orange juice, water??? Ice?????

Sway is the most accepting place for queer people of all shapes sizes and colors. At club sway you will never be judged for anything and Jason and all the performs and staff there make you feel like your family. No idea is to rash or to absurd or anything. Here you can just be undeniably you without judgement or question or anything. 20 out of 10 recommend sway is home.
