Typical South American restaurant, with typical specialties of some regions. Cozy, it has a counter where you order food and a drinks counter with a good selection of local craft beers. The dishes are excellent and full of local flavours. The service is fast and the price is right. I recommend it!

Everything was delicious, we ate, and were so full, the Tacos were so tasty, like Hundarus soft not crunchy. All the toppings excellent. Pork/Pineapple very flavorful. Salsa all very fresh. There were 8 of us. Bathrooms clean, we peeked in the back play area, kids had lots of room to play. We then, walked thru the Fine Art Gallery, fantastic. What a happening area. Oh, and the Margarita was delicious. We parked on the street and walked right in at 5pm.

Our lunch today at El Sur was, as always, delicious. El Sur is a Honduran restaurant in downtown Little Rock.
We shared a delicious pupusa filled with cheese and beans, an arepa filled with chicken seasoned with aromatic seasonings, and two tacos, one al pastor and the other carne asada. There was so much food for the two of us that we took enough home to have another meal of it.
I love the very tasty homemade tortillas and the homemade chips made from those tortillas. My one quibble with El Sur is that some of their salsas have sugar in them. I know this because my palate tells me so. I realize this is a concession to Little Rock taste, but it's not to my liking.
El Sur's owners and workers are always eally nice and welcoming. Their tamales are excellent. We've ordered a dozen of them in the past to take home and should do that again.

This is one of our favorite spots in LR for a good meal and drinks. El Sur recently catered an event for us and the food and service were perfect as well. Don’t sleep on the tres leches cake—it’s so good!

El Sur Street Food Co is a hidden gem in Arkansas that absolutely delivers on flavor and atmosphere. From the moment you arrive, you’re welcomed into a vibrant, authentic experience that’s as warm and inviting as the staff.
The highlight for me? The chicken soup—rich, flavorful, and undeniably comforting. It’s the kind of dish that feels like it’s made with love and care, perfect for any day of the week. My wife went with the nachos, and let me tell you, they’re not just nachos—they’re an experience. Generous toppings, fresh ingredients, and the perfect balance of textures. She couldn’t stop raving about them (and neither could I after stealing a bite).
The food alone would earn a return trip, but the casual, laid-back vibe of El Sur makes it even better. This is the kind of spot where you can grab a meal that feels special without any pretense. If you’re in the area, don’t miss it—this place is an absolute must-visit.

My husband and I ran in here after an art event. It was probably around 9pm. I chatted with the guy at the register on what to get. I was blow away by how good everything was. The pupusas were 100% better than mine my husband said. Thats a high honor and I completely agree with him! El pastor taco was amazing! We will be back many many many times.

While visiting Little Rock, we stumbled upon El Sur, a small and casual restaurant!
The food was outstanding—delicious tacos and taquitos that were bursting with flavor. It was clear that everything was made with care and attention to detail. The simplicity of the menu made ordering easy, and we were in and out quickly, which was perfect for a quick lunch.
What truly set El Sur apart, though, was the service. The staff were awesome—kind, attentive, and genuinely friendly. To top it off, the owner came out to talk with us, which added a personal touch to the visit.
If you’re in Little Rock and looking for a quick, delicious meal with top-notch service, El Sur is the place to go. A 5-star experience all around!

We came here for the Honduran food, which is excellent, but we also enjoyed the delicious margaritas and had fun playing ping pong, pool, and fuse ball in the game room in the back. Despite going on a Friday night, there was no wait to get a table and the food came out quickly.
