Overpriced, weak sandwiches that make you wonder if the owners have ever visited a real NYC deli, much less even appreciate what makes a sandwich delicious. Let me put it this way - the food was so disappointing, I felt the need to take the time to write a review over a dang sandwich. I wouldn’t expect this place to last long, Little Rock deserves better.

Food was decent.. menu wasn't like we expected. Pizza was a bit doughy, but the sandwich was awesome. They seem really preoccupied with something in the back though... Waited forever for the ticket, and asked for Togo cup but wasn't an option for a fresh drink. Not for us, but decent food.

I used to go to gandolfos every day after school in high school when the original owners owned the business. They had an amazing menu and made the food with love Everytime. The new owners do not have a lot of the same things on the menu which is understandable but the sandwiches do not taste the same. I asked for avocado on sandwich that used to originally come with it, they put it on the sandwich and heated the Avocado
up to the point where it almost tasted rotten. (Old employees would neverrrr) I’m so disappointed and miss the amazing environment this restaurant used to be, and the amazing food they once had. What a waste. Also no more banana pudding ? I will not be back.

So bad. My son got a cheese pizza and I couldn't let him finish it because the dough in the middle was all raw. The wait staff were fairly incompetent and trying to order was a very weird experience. We asked for large pizzas and she told us a large was $25 and sort of autocorrected our order to medium pizzas so we just went with it. She also offered us a free cookie before we had even ordered anything else I think which was bizarre. Our meal was interrupted about 4 times by different staff members coming to check in or talk to us, including the chef, which was really weird and just left the impression that the place is run in a very chaotic way and overstaffed. The dough of the pizza is very thick and overall even though mine and my husband's were cooked through okay they just weren't that great. Our total check was about $52 which was absolutely preposterous for the food that was served and the service. My husband paid the check and still tipped, probably from guilt. If I had been doing it the tip would have been zero. Absolutely never again, we felt like we were on an episode of Kitchen Nightmares.

I really hate to leave a less-than-positive review because the food here is genuinely delicious. But unfortunately, something has to give. My husband has called in two orders recently — one at the end of April and one today — and both times we’ve run into major issues.

The first time, he waited almost an hour after calling in for the food to be ready. And when he got home, two out of three sandwiches were wrong. Today’s order was incorrect as well. We even called in instead of ordering online just to avoid this kind of mix-up — yet it still happened.

We love the food, but we’re confused and disappointed by the recurring issues. What’s going on?

Was a favorite lunch spot. Don't know if it's under new management but it's not as welcoming anymore. So glad this town is big and there are plenty of really good places to go.

We’ve been eating here for a while now. We got a little concerned when we were told the menu was changing a bit. We decided to stop last weekend for lunch. Visited with the owner a little bit who talked us into trying the pizza…….well, I have to say that we weren’t disappointed. I can honestly say that it’s one of my 2 favorite pizza places in Little Rock. I’m usually a thin crust kind of guy because thick crust normally doesn’t have much flavor and seems more like a way to make the pizza feel bigger than it is. Not this crust, it is great. Good flavor, and the sauce wasn’t weirdly sweet like most pizza places. 8 out 10 for me. Can’t wait to go back and give the wings a try next. Please show this place some love and give it try.

I finally made it to Gandolfos Pizza and Deli. The staff was warm and welcoming as soon as I entered. I ordered a Rueben, red pepper soup, and an avacodo tuna salad. I must say that the soup was my favorite, as it was very tasty, the tuna was flavor but the salad was missing something; not very exciting with the exception of the Italian dressing, I believe it was homemade. Last but not least the Reuben was pretty good, but not substantial enough for the price. Will I visit again? Yes I will visit again. They have a breakfast menu as well. I was the only customer during my visit so I can't speak on the Atmosphere.
