Middle Eastern Cuisine offers delicious food with friendly service. The falafel plate, baklava, beef and lamb plate with falafel, tabouleh, and lentil soup are all top-notch and affordable. Their hummus, garlic dip, and kebabs are highly recommended. Customers appreciate the fresh and tasty food at reasonable prices, often remarking that they can enjoy a gyro, a drink, and leave a tip for less than an entrée at most places. The Turkish chicken and eggplant dip have received particular praise, with many becoming fans of eggplant after trying it here. The owner is known for being kind and generous, and the restaurant is a must-try when in the River Marketplace area. Excellent service from staff, including FiFi, has also been highlighted, making this restaurant a favorite spot for many who plan to return. The chef’s dishes change daily, aside from the staples, and she often prepares a spread of what she thinks is best that day. Visitors frequently mention that the food hits the spot every time and that the place offers authentic Egyptian flavors. The hospitality is unforgettable, with some customers noting that the owner refuses to take money from travelers and offers drinks and baklava instead. Overall, Middle Eastern Cuisine is a great place for flavorful food and warm service.
