$20 dollar cover fee at the door.. just to have a space that is dirty and the bathroom not have any working sinks or tissue stocked in the stalls. You can do tap at the door , but can’t at the bar either ? Space seems awkwardly shaped as well.
Cool, intimate venue, super friendly staff, reasonable beer prices. Definitely a great way to see an artist you like up close!
Its a run down music venue. Good music doesn't make up for the dump it is inside. Bathrooms are likely the dirtiest I've seen for this type of venue. Sinks are disgusting if they even work. You can get cold drinks and listen to the music, thats about it. Wait staff and security are good people.
The general admission tickets are not what one would assume. Poor seats or you're standing. Air circulation is poor at best right now and it's only June 13th, not really summer yet. There's much better venues to stay the least.
Really great place! I had a blast, my main complaint is how they charge you. I ordered tickets online and then got charged another 40 to my card at the door. Why?? Called to try and figure that out but no answer. They also double charged my boyfriends card, charged for drinks and then again for whatever reason. Disappointed and probably should just pay cash.
Cool venue, Reasonable prices on drinks and the show
I've had friends who've helped run the joint; they're cool so I'm a tad biased. I've seen several great shows and played here years back; I got too drunk to drive once (lol) because I can fool staff quite easily but they let me sober up on one of the cushy benches facing the bridge onramp. I know that was probably against policy but it was a prudent move and I applaud whoever called that shot.
The older door guy can be surly but he's always cool to a fellow graybeard. I was on a guestlist that he couldn't see at first and we exchanged heat but it was quickly solved between us, no need for anyone else. Respects, Door Graybeard \m/
P.S. That was at the Melvins show in October. The sound was excellent!! Thanks B
It is a beautiful venue run by amazing ppl it was awesome to see the EDM community turn out for the rave hosted there
Great place for local and big bands to play
Went to a concert there (please note they are closing). Music was good but SUPER loud. We were dripped on by condensation and later moved further back. Don't expect much from the bar outside of very standard fare (communication was a challenge due to noise and dialect issues). Band started 30 minutes late and ended 30 minutes early. No fights but one patron asked to leave due to excessive inebriation. Wife use to go there years ago and said location was certainly showing its age. Let's say we would not go again unless someone we REALLY liked.
Restaurantji Recommends
